Hi everybody,

my interview is next week and I guess I have most of my marriage related paper work and here is my list

- Joint medical insurance

- joint credit card statement back to 2009

- joint bank account statements back to 2009

- joint auto insurance

- old rental agreements

- few airline tickets together for trips for us and the family

- bunch of photos

-selective service document

- tax transcripts

my question is, we are living in my mother in law's house for free. I need to get an affidavit from my mother in law about this. I know there is no specific wording for it but I wonder if anybody has some sort of affidavit for this situation. I also know it might not even been needed but I want to be equipped with everything they need just in case. any help is appreciated. thanks

No personal experience, but I don't really see why you would want an affidavit for the US Citizenship (AOS would be different), especially with all the other evidence you have, including insurance, account statements etc which surely have your address on it anyway?

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.

I do have an address on all the previous documents but I want to make sure I have all the paper work just in case.

Easiest way to get around this is to go to a bookstore, realtor, or even download a standard lease agreement from the net, and you, your spouse, and mother-in-law fill it out. Can put anything down for the rent.

Renting agreement is strictly between the leaser and lessee as to how its enforce. Type in "Down load Leaser and lessee agreement" in google and take your choice.

USCIS can get picky if you don't have proof you are living together.
