thank you.

It's a shame, though, that you only seem to notice when an Obama supporter does it. Racist articles or opinions are posted all the time by people clearly anti-Obama.

Why is it that Republicans are free to incorrectly stereotype Democrats or Obama supporters and yet when they are incorrectly labeled something, they're furious?

your 'seem to' meter is broken. honestly, the only 'furious' people i've noticed on VJ are obama supporters. they can't stand it when someone disagrees with them.

You are seeing what you want to see, then. That's definitely not accurate. If you don't believe it goes both ways, you aren't being objective.

Since the election, there have been PLENTY of posts about how the minority voters (blacks, latinos, etc) only voted for Obama because they want handouts from the government. Republicans have come out and said this. Bill O'Reilly says it here. And yet that's acceptable?

I've lost count of how many times some posters here have decided to call me stupid because I disagree with them.

ORLY? go thru this thread (or the entire P&R forum if you like) & count the venomous post made by 'rwn' vs. 'lwn'. its pretty clear which group is full of hatered towards differing opinions.

I just gave you an example of the type of thread that pops up here all the time. "Minorities vs real Americans" ... hell I've even seen some "RWNs" put that in their thread titles until they get deleted. At least try and be objective, please.

This thread is about his remarks. You can't really be this obtuse.

It's like expecting a discussion of Hurricane Sandy to not include wind speeds.

yes it is about his remarks. can you show me when & where he said 'Black Voters Don’t Believe In ‘Self Reliance’ Or ‘American Exceptionalism’?...yah i didn't think so. you can't be that albophobic you see everything as a racial commentary. can you?

You have got to be kidding me, I've been in here about 2 weeks and I've seen so many Libtards and stupid lib comments. If anything the libs make jabs in jest towards the conseratives.

Here's O'Reilly's statement that he's attempting to defend:

It’s not a traditional America any more. And there are 50% of the voting public who want stuff. They want things. And who is going to give them things? President Obama. He knows it and he ran on it. And, whereby twenty years ago, President Obama would have been roundly defeated by an establishment candidate like Mitt Romney. The white establishment is now the minority. And the voters, many of them, feel that the economic system is stacked against them and they want stuff. You are going to see a tremendous Hispanic vote for President Obama, overwhelming black vote for President Obama. And women will probably break President Obama’s way. People feel that they are entitled to things and which candidate, between the two, is going to give them things?

He mentions race, no? He mentions blacks, Latinos, etc voting for Obama because they feel ENTITLED to things and want free stuff.

You're right. That's not racial commentary at all.

i am. you're not.

I am being objective. I've said it goes both ways. Not sure how you can't see that, but hey, whatever makes you feel better or feel like you're "right" ... doesn't matter.

true? yes

then he said 'People feel that they are entitled to things and which candidate, between the two, is going to give them things?

true? yes

Did you miss the part about how it isn't traditional America anymore because of these "new voters" who want free things? He then says these "new voters" are black, Latinos, etc. But hey, if you don't find that to be a comment about race, then I dunno what to tell you.

Regardless of whether or not you think his statement is true, what you're arguing is that he doesn't make it racial and he clearly does.

Not everybody who doesn't like Obama is racist.

Same way not everybody who DOES like Obama is depending on the government for handouts, just wants free stuff, and doesn't care about personal responsibility. Yet I only see Republicans get mad when THEY are the ones stereotyped incorrectly.

I want stuff. I know it is not free. You can pay for it. I am voting from now on to take stuff from you and give it to me. We can do that.

Liar. I want you to pay for my stuff and I'm white! What a fool O'Reilly is!
