How long for an appointment for Abu Dhabi ?

Hello Sabre, in our case, Abu Dhabi set up an interview for February 12th, after getting our packet from NVC November 8th. They set the interview date the same day they recieved the packet. According to the letter they wrote for our packet, they are currently backlogged with fiance visa applications, hence the delay.

If you would like, I scanned the packet they mailed to me so you can look through the documents and requirements from Abu Dhabi Embassy, just pass me a message.

Juliekins went prior to us, and her interview date was only about 6 weeks after Abu Dhabi got their packet from NVC.

Good luck on your journey! You should be getting the packet for your fiance sent to you by mail very soon, you are not far behind us!

hala! ya salam. Sabre aboy i happened to read your post, and i suggest you message 'brad836'.. search his Id on the search page. He is an Iranian and his wife had gone through Abu Dhabi Embassy.

Did anyone going through Abu Dhabi get an interview date yet (for I-130)??? This waiting is hard. I know it's hard on all of us. If the embassy would just give us an interview date, at least we would have an idea when we could be together.

Has anyone going for their K-1 had their interview yet? How was it?

I am going through the same wait time, Our case was completed in July 20th at NVC. Still waiting for a date for interview..

Sorry, I have been so busy, I haven't checked the posting. Mashallah, i'm glad you have your appointment scheduled, and by now it is finished. Did it go well? Alhamdullilah, my wife's appointment is March 27. I'm trying to find out when I should tell her to be in Abu Dhabi for her medical, pictures and things. Also, I'm trying to schedule her flights. If you have any advise, it would be so appreciated.

How are you?Im living here in Sharjan UAE,and also im waiting for my interview this coming feb 12,2007 in abu dhabi embassy..you received already your packet from abu dhabi that will set an appointment your packet have intruction and requirements will required. Me and my fiance were applying k1 Visa and how bout you.Your right its difficult me also im having right now and feel nervous for my interview coming hope the officer is nice and i pray..still keep going on to complete my requiremetns

Alhamdullilah, my wife's case was completed by the NVC on Oct 26th. Does anyone know about how long it will take for the NVC to schedule her appointment in Abu Dhabi ???

Thanks for the help. I'm trying to ease my wife's concerns about waiting too long. I keep telling her she should be so so so happy that things have gone this well, alhamdullilah. But I know it's hard on her.

Any clue would be much appreciated. Trying to plan on ticket prices and time off from work.
