The London embassy helpline told you to voice your concerns in a Visa Journey forum???

Explain what you need to know more clearly. Why are you posting your passport number? What is the reference code referring to?

We are wondering if there is some form to fill out as the NOA2 is only good for 4 months. Our interview date is after the date that it expires. We are just wondering if we need to fill out other forms to extend it or will the embassy take care of this for us. We just don't want Mark to get to the interview to be denied due to an expired NOA2.

As long as you do your part applying for the visa and sending your forms in, which you did, then you are okay. You did your part. London won't deny you because they were slow doing the embassy part and passing out an interview. The date is more of a shelf life date so if you did nothing for maybe 8 months, then suddenly sent forms in, they would be able to say "sorry you expired" and have a document to prove you were given a date. You won't have a problem at all.
