so what is your case status? what are you waiting for??

My wife and step-kids are currently waiting for removal of conditions and their 10 year green cards. We filed in early July, but USCIS is currently taking a long time on these.

I keep the status in my profile set to K1 because I think it's more relevant for people to see at a glance where we started than where we are now in the process. You can look at my timeline if you want the details of our journey so far.

Hey guys can you help me out in doing CSPA calculation for my brother please.. Need your advise

His birth date is 13 April 1984 and he is right now 28 years old. Our pd is 28 April 2001 and approval date is 6 Nov 2009.

Hope this suffice

Assuming your priority date is current on January 1st, 2013 (which I suspect it will be) then his CPSA age will be 20 years, 2 months, 3 days. He'll make it by about 10 months.

12/15/2009 - K1 Visa Interview - APPROVED!

12/29/2009 - Married in Oakland, CA!

08/18/2010 - AOS Interview - APPROVED!

05/01/2013 - Removal of Conditions - APPROVED!

After taking another look, yes - it might be the February visa bulletin. Possibly even March. I just noticed the cutoff dates for F4 only moved by 10 days between November and December, and you're still about 27 days short. It all depends on how much the cutoff dates move.

I have no idea what the requirements are at the university you intend to go to, but I'm sure they require a proficiency in English. You'll have to contact the school to see what you have to do to prove your proficiency. If they require the TOEFL, which is a relatively common requirement, then you should go ahead and begin studying for it. If you can't pass the TOEFL then they might still allow you to enroll, but they'd restrict you to ESL and non-degree classes. They may even have a class to help prepare you for the TOEFL test.
