I know its stupid, but are the forms sent to the right address? (K1)

I do not want to sound an alarm but aren't all 129F (K1 Visas) sent to the Dallas Tx Lockbox then routed to the SVC by geographical region? Example is I live in Florida and I sent our application to Dallas. They forwarded my packet to Vermont SVC. All in all my check cleared my bank in 7 business days from when I mailed my packet to Dallas.

If they cashed your check then my guess is you sent it to the proper place. Normally they return the packet and check if it was mailed to the wrong address.

Good luck

You sent it to the wrong place but as the cheque was cashed, I guess they rerouted it.

For the remainder of the K-1 process make sure you read the guides and follow their instructions.

Thanks for the replies. However, we do not recall attaching the e-notification form >.<. Will a letter/mail be sent to the filer's address in case e-notification is not requested? Thanks.

Thanks LSnBigBear. My mind is a bit at ease with your reply.

Xanax. Yeah, it was unwise of us to follow the advice of a person that has filed for fiancé visa 10years ago :bonk: .

True, as with any government entity, rules and guidelines change with every President and congressional session. Please utilize this website as your information central. I had people tell me things that were incorrect, and I did not know it until I read it here. Please ensure that you research everything very well, because K-1 is just your first step in this process. Good Luck

The e-notification isn't required. Once you get your NOA1 you can check your case status online with your receipt number :)

There aren't two separate places. One address is a PO Box, the other is a physical address for those who want to send via courier, FedEx, or UPS, i.e. services that require a physical address and not a PO Box. However, they all end up at the Dallas lockbox location.

Ok good luck.

In Arizona its hot hot hot.

Where applicable, you must include a copy of the Form I-797C Notice of Approval, showing that your Form I-130 or Form I-360 was accepted or approved.

They are filing an I-129F petition for a K-1. I am not really sure what it is you are advising them about. They will not have an I-130 or I-360. I thought your earlier post was asking about the G-1145 e-notification form that would let them know by email when the petition was received. It would have been sent at the same time as the I-129F petition. Now I have no clue what you are talking about.

Where to File :File Form I-129F at the USCIS Dallas Lockbox facility:

For U.S. Postal Service (USPS):

USCIS

P.O. Box 660151

Dallas, TX 75266

For USPS Express Mail and courier deliveries:

USCIS

Attn: I-129F

2501 South State Highway 121 Business

Suite 400

Lewisville, TX 75067

• We recommend reading our Lockbox Filing Tips before filing your petition.

• We will send you an email or text when the Dallas Lockbox facility accepts your Form I-129F if you clip a completed Form G-1145, Notification of Acceptance of Application/Petition to the front of your petition.

Note: A Form I-129F Petition cannot be adjudicated at a USCIS Office abroad.

That may be the current address as of November 2012, but it may change as it did in the past. People should grab the current forms and follow the instructions that come with those forms.

That is so true, if you see my posts most of the time I advise everyone to compare VJ to USCIS and yes I follow my own advice. Thanks for the tip to all including me.
