I'm getting a little frustrated with the VSC... As of 2 days ago it's been 6 months since my NOA1, and the website claims 5 months.

US Citizen filing for Spouse form I-130 NOA1 date May 17th.

Called the help line 3 weeks ago, they were working on May 13th and told me to call back the next week.

Called the help line 2 weeks ago, they were working on May 14th and told me to call back the next week.

Called the help line 1 week ago, they were working on May 15th and told me to call back the next week.

Called the help line today, they're working on May 14th.

What's going on with this place? Is everyone on vacation?

Hi,have a look on this link on the USCIS forums section:

I don't want to make you feel worse, but I also sent a I-130 petition for spouse on April 27, 2012 that was sent to this same location and at this point I've not received a decision. If it helps for you, I contacted my congressmen and they've been making calls to USCIS. Last time they contacted me (4 days ago), I was told to wait 10 more days. Still hanging in here, but patience has a limit.

Here's what I was told when I called, two weeks ago. The polite man said be aware when they give the date May 14th, its two weeks prior and two weeks after that date which are also being processed at the same time. Depends on where you are in the pile of of applications that the particular person is working from :)

My senators office told me today that our case is with an adjudications officer and they have up to 90 days to complete, but usually takes 30-60days.

Hope this helps , I know it helped me to know that they are doing their best to process these as fast as they can. I don't think they are just sitting around trying to annoy us :) Which they are, but its not intentional! :bonk:

Wife just called today and they said they were working on May 14th still. Two weeks. No movement. They told us to call back in 24 days this time. So we're looking at a processing time frame of 6-7 months instead of the originally projected 5 months.

We should set up a call schedule for one person each day to call them to see where they are at. lol.

This is really stressing my wife (and therefore me) out. She's there all by herself with no one to help her with home stuff.

Hopefully they start working on June within the next few months.

My date NOA1 date is May 14th and I have had no decision made on my case. My husband called last Thursday and was told they were working on May 14th. Its becoming overbearing especially when you know you are doing things the legal way! And the sad part is this is only the first step. You still have to go through NVC and wait for interview.

Exactly! That's what hurts. doing it legally where illegals are being rewarded! It's sick!

Peter, I don't know if by priority date you meant Receipt date (or NOA1) but mine is April 24 and I still have not received my NOA2.

Hang in there and stay optimistic! Good Luck!

I didn't realize this...well that makes me feel a little better. They should really say that they are working on May's applications, though, instead of May 14th. haha.

So disappointed with USCIS. My PD is March 1, 2012 and still waiting. Already contacted congress and had the contact them. They keep saying. I will here back from them in 30-60 days. 30 days is almost up. I'm just being patient with them. It's amazing how crazy this.

Take heart people and lets hope they actually decide to do their job.

Well, is it possible yours is delayed because you originally petitioned as a LPR? I think that might be a slightly different situation.
