If the Palestinians stop launching rockets this minute will the Israeli bombings stop? Yes.

If the Israelis stop bombing right now will the Palestinian rockets stop coming? No

As long as the rockets are launching they get jack squat as far as consideration... Don't whine about civilian deaths, they know exactly how to stop it this second: stop firing the rockets or fire them only at military targets from non civillian areas. They have full control over the parameters and they chose to bring the civilians of both sides into it.

Israel is firing missiles into one of the most densely populated areas on the planet populated by people it does not like, so why exactly would it need to start pin pointing arab children. Throw a rock in a field and you'll likely hit grass at some point.
