If you could you rephrase the analogy, but this time use rockets instead of "water balloons," multiple extremists instead of a single "child," and weapons caches and strategic military points instead of "houses," then yes. Yes I would. And if some actual houses get knocked over in the meantime, I might consider it (with sadness in my heart) collateral damage.

And here we have it folks! According to some posters on here it's ok to fire rockets into heavily populated Israeli cities if most of the explosives are removed from said rockets in order for those rockets to achieve such a distance.

Well according to you it's ok to fire rockets in heavily populated areas that have been surrounded on all sides while all access to water and arable land have been restricted, just so long as you get the slightest pretext before attacking.\

Blame the Palestinians or Arabs all you like, I don't because I know better, but even if you do, just remember that todays Palestinians weren't around when Israel came into being and therefore shouldn't be continually lectured about rejecting peace. The Israelis have rejected their fair share of peace plans, but for some reason that's ok. Just blame the Arabs and everything will be okay. It is funny how for someone who continually bemoans the liberal media, will swallow hook, line and sinker the one sided Israeli narrative being forced fed to the world.

Here's an even better question. If you attack a neighbor several times for the fact you don't agree with your neighbor having their own country and you lose every time you attack said neighbor do you ask that neighbor for a favor or do you lick your wounds and learn something about your first five failed attacks?

Please watch the video below (sorry I could not imbed it), it shows one of the buildings the Israelis destroyed.. Notice how everyone is leaving and the camera is aimed right at the location.. Why? Because hours before bombing it Israel informed the locals (and everyone else) that they were going to take it out. This is normal procedure and has only one purpose.. to reduce civilian casualties. The goal is to destroy infrastructure, not kill people. It is war, it is brutal, it is terrible.. but lets be honest about it.

Now take the other side.. The absolute hope of those firing the rockets is to kill people.. period. They could care less about damaging systems or vital infrastructure.. the total goal *total* is to kill as many people as possible to make headlines. The rockets are packed with as much explosives as possible to make it to their targets. If they could make them more deadly they would. Compromises are made for better distance and "accuracy"... Pretending that explosives are removed for any other purpose is dishonest. They want to kill people and they are taking their best shot.

Theres still no excuse to civilian deaths...especially when its children. But this isnt anything compared to Operation Cast Lead in 2009 where there were thousands of civilians were killed.

Israel has better weapons = fewer civilian deaths.

Hamas has better weapons = more Israeli deaths
