I am not sure if I am posting this in the right place. But on form DS-230 #11 asks for the address where the beneficiary would like to send the Permanent Resident Card (Green Card). They say if the mailing address is different from the address in #10 (home address) to write it. My address (US Citizen) is a PO Box I know a lot of places do not accept a PO Box as an address to mail things to since they require a physical address. Does anyone know if I can have my fiance's green card mailed to a PO Box?

Thank you!

it's going to be sent out via usps first class mail with tracking - a PO BOX address will be delivered - no sweat there.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

I do not think you can have your fiancee (future wife) green card mailed to a PO Box. You have to include a physical address. They may think it's fishy that you do not include a real address. Did you try to call USCIS customer service and ask this?

That is great news! Thank you. I was just nervous bc when mail is sent to my physical address its usually lost.

Well I (US Citizen) am filing our my fiance's paperwork since he doesn't speak English (we speak Spanish to each other). They ask for where he is staying which I added my physical address and then they ask where they would like to have the green card mailed to. The only reason why I wanted it sent to a PO Box is bc where I live getting mail to my house is almost impossible and about 90% of the time it gets lost.

Thank you both for your responses.
