I am Ukrainian citizen from Kiev.We received NOA and KEV#.

Just waiting notification from Kiev Consulate of USA by mail, or by e-mail. Not sure what way they notify.

As far as I know just 2 steps left: to pass medical exam & interview after that.

As it is closer I start worry like all u know. I have a question who passed it already. How does it look like this Medical Exam (how many doctors?). How serious does it look like? As I noticed not cheap 125 USD.

How many questions they put on Interview. For the last 7 months we had 5 meetings with all proved documents.

Would appreciate much your support and details.

Every consulate is different. Not sure how the Kiev embassy is.

My medical was easy. Just a questionnaire and a short meeting with the doctor. How many questions are at the interview is very case specific and very country specific. Some get asked two questions, some get asked 200.

Unless there are any major red flags in your case, you don't have anything to worry about.

Red flags can be things like huge age difference, multiple prior marriages, past immigration violations, major cultural differences etc.

The questions vary at the interview, but go here to get a better idea http://www.visajourney.com/reviews/index.php?cnty=Ukraine

As far as notification of the interview read EVERYTHING on the embassy's website http://ukraine.usembassy.gov/fiancee-step1.html Make sure you have everything listed on the Instructions for K Visa Applicants (PDF) and KEV-1 Form (PDF).

The medical is not a big deal if you are healthy and have no diseases to prevent you from entering the USA. It was only one doctor. A piece of advice get all of the vaccinations done at your medical, you will need the vaccinations to adjust your status. Get the panel physician there to give you a copy of the DS-3025 marked "complete". It is less expensive and easier to do it there.

Good luck

:time: It helps everyone

The DS-3025 is very important and needed for AOS.

Phil (Lockport, near Chicago) and Alla (Lobnya, near Moscow)

As of Dec 7, 2009, now Zero miles apart (literally)!

My Fiance(Sveta) just had her interview today at Kyiv. APPROVED!! yay!!

But to anwer you questions... we just went through all that. The medical is easy and self explainatory. you will be guided by a bunch of doctors so do diff test. you will be out of there in few hours.

As per the notification, please don't wait on it. If you have the KEV#, then go ahead online and schedule an interview online.

This is what I did....

I called NVC, they gave me the KEV number and told me when it left their office(on Oct 28th), 4 days for the US Embassy to recieve it. They recieved it on Nov 2nd but it took 1odays for us to recieve the letter(recieved it on Nov12th). Honestly I didn't wait till then, I went ahead and scheduled her interview on Nov2nd online, once i had the KEV#, Visa payment receipt# and passport number. then Sveta had her medical on November 9th.

this all was done before we recieved the letter. By doing this we were able to save 3-4weeks of wait time.

Questions asked: just general question?

where I worked? what was my job title? when was the last time we met and where? I schedule her interview for today NOV19TH @ 7:45am, she was out in one hour with the approval.

Good luck to you guys and don't wait on the letter. Go ahead and schedule the interview. Medical examination need the KEV number and also just to be safe, print out the appointment confirmation from online once you guys schedule it.

Good Luck!! all the best!! love forever !! live happier. If you have any questions.. feel free to email me.
