Yes this is bad! What about those who have interviews on the 23rd? It is going to be a very packed day with double interview candidates. hope the consulate is arranging more consular officers to make up for this re-scheduling.

Do applicants for IV also need to go to offsite center to give Fingerprints. I think it is required for non-immigrant applicants only?

Correct me If I am wrong.

Hey i have deatiled my experience of interview posted yesterday..i cant find it where it is? Sorry bad browsing..Otherwise i will mention it again in sometime....thanks u

I wud like to share my experience with u all....

I woke up at 4:30am and was out of the house with my children by 5:15 to take local train to Bandra. I reached at consulate at 6:30, saw many ppl standing..I was still relaxed as my chidlren kept me busy with their question's...

Security guard asked every one to form 2 lines checking interview letter..One for Immigrant and other Non immigrant visa..Sharp 7:20am i enter the gate for screening..They give one tray box to keep all ur belonging's in it including ur wrist watch..and then do screening for us too..Collected my belonging from tray and headed to waiting area for immigrant visa.. There they line up for to give token number on ur interview letter..I got my token and sat at waiting area..After 10 mintues that shud be 8:10am the indian officer called me..It was a lady..She asked me..

1. Who is petitioner?

2. Give me ur medical and P.C.C..and took my hubby tax2011 from me..She gave back all the documents corresponded with NVC in bundle..

3. what does ur spouse do?

4. Have you been outside india?

5. She asked me to correct my DS-230 PART 1, since i was working in u.a.e and i slipped to mention on it..(corrected)

6. Where is ur husband now?

7. When is he going back to U.S?

8. Were u married before?

9. Was ur husband married before?

10. He dint mention in his document about his first marriage??(it was a mistake from my hubby n i had all the documents to prove it)

11. She made a remark on 10th point with red pen,, i cud see it and i thought that's it i will be asked on this matter for sure from american..

12. where does he work?

she took my finger print of left n right hand..Finger print is not done for children.

she asked me to wait for the next around of interview..

I waited, waited n waited n waited....was getting fed up when i saw all were moving out wid happy faces and few dissappointed ones..(there was rush as some ppl date on 19th nov was also interviewed)

Anyways i was called at 12:20noon..I was second last there..

I was called by American Lady, very smart and mine was like rapid fire question.....I knew that i had to be very honest to it, bcoz if u are honest, then u are confident...

First i greeted her.. She asked me to sign DS part 2...OATH we 3 had to take..followed by right 4 finger print of mine..

1. who is calling you?

2. when did u meet him?

3. how did u meet him? U met him when u were working or on visit?

4. For how many years were u working in U.A.E?

5. Did u get married in U.A.E or India?

6. After marriage how long he stayed with you?

7 How does he communicates with u?

8. What is the age difference between ur age and his?

9. How did ur parents agree to this marriage?

10.For how long his last marriage was lasted?

11. What was the reason for seperation?

12. Does he have any children from previous marriage?

13. Can u show me the pic of ur marriage?

14. Which year he got married (previous marriage)?

15. What was the reason to terminated his first marriage?

she was giving me my passport back asking me for PCC from U.A.E to be done, i answered her immediately that i left that country for good 6years before..Then she was ok wit it..

16. So can u prove me that his marriage got terminated? I showed all the documents..

17. She also asked were u both in living relationship?

18. Are these pic original or printed? (PIC i took to show of my family) I took only 10 pics..

I have detailed all her question in short to the point, smile and speak..

She said ur interview seems ok but, all i need is copy of divorce from the civil court so i give u ur passport back and ....In mean time i told her sorry madam can i intervene u for a minute she said yes...I again removed documents and told her this is divorce copy from the high court..she said oh i over looked it..This shud be good enough..

She asked me to sit and called my elder daughter age 11 to question..

1. DO u know ur parents anniversary date?

2. How do u communicate with ur father?

3. Do u miss him?

4. Does he visit u very often?

5. Do u know where ur father stays?

While seeing pic, she asked called my younger daughter age 8..is this you or ur elder sister? Is ur father carrying you or ur elder sis? (Those pic were when they were toddler)...

Then she smiled and said to my daughter's call ur mother, The lady replied me ok...ur interview has been good to the honest..u will get ur passport in one week time with visa..I said thank you and hve a nice day...

Then end...

Be really honest and stick to ur answer given bcoz they ask u same question in 3 different way...to judge whether ur answer differ's all the time..she did that to me...

Hope it will help some one like my case on this visa journey blog..All the best to the rest up coming interview...

Pls note there is xerox machine inside, so u need not worry if u miss any documents copy, also they take pic inside for U.S photo visa, there is snack counter too..All this in waiting area..
