I have been trying to call the Casa consulate, but I can't get a live person. I know people here who have suceeded, what is the trick?

Thank God we have to keep phone statements. I called this number while in Morocco and got a live person. Tested it again before posting it here, and its still a live person answering promptly with "Consular Section. May I help you?". I got good info at this number when I needed it.

That's interesting. They sent me to someone who answered all my questions in real time. Sorry, you must have a tuffy for them!

Yup, I have a tuffy alright. The crazy thing is that they have been trying to call my husband, not the other way around, we are simply trying to return their call. We really need a way to contact them for cases like that.

I even called the department of state to see if they had any information on the case, and they have nothing in their system.

With our luck they have him scheduled for an interview tomorrow, and because he can't connect with them he will miss the interview... :crying:

Here's the "trick" I used whenever calling Casa. When someone told me to send an email I would say that I sent one over 3 weeks ago with no response. Even if that wasn't true that was the only way they would help me. Just keep insisting and be persistent. You might have to call a few times. Good luck!
