We just ordered our ticket to bring us together, and then found out how much of a mess

the ticket is going to be because it uses Beijing Capital International Airport.

At the Beijing Cap Air there is a transfer from Terminal 2 to Terminal 3 that I found out

will cause my Rochelle to not only have to go through customs/security two times, but she

will have to pay for a shuttle to Terminal 3(in Yuan).

I found this hard to believe, but acceptable.

I then read the requirements of the customs realizing she would have

enter China crossing the national lines, and realized

that any and all written documents, or photos are subject to be

opened, and thereby searched.

I am now worried that our final envelope for immigration and the K1 visa

in the US is going to be disturbed by the Chinese customs not once but twice.

Has this happened to anyone in coming from China? or Anyone who has used this airport in the past?

Thanks.

My flight then is Manila > Beijing > Chicago .. the Shuttle is Free and No, they didn't open my yellow packet in Beijing although she will go through another security check before boarding the next flight to U.S. The problem in Beijing the Immigration Officers are not all well verse in english language, they can hardly speak it. She will be ask to fill out a form that she needs to present to Beijing IO. If she's switching different carrier and if she has several luggages with her she's going to have a hard time moving from one terminal to another.

She will just have to medium size rolling bags, and two carries. It is hard for me to believe that she will have any trouble making it there with 7 hours of opportunity.

Would you mind sharing the steps you took during your transfer from T2-T3 at Beijing?
