I don't think I've ever heard him talk sooooooooo fast. He said the interviewer was very tough (Maureen was her name). They told him to bring more pictures and then he would be approved  . She asked why all of the pictures just had me in a red dress (from fiance party). I said, "You mean you ONLY brought the fiance party pictures?????????". He said he forgot the others. He is going back tomorrow with the rest. He asked her, "What should I tell my fiance?" and she said, "Just tell her that you will be approved when I see more pictures and to wait for her call."

This is after we had been stressing over the fact that the package I had sent him for this interview, which was so elegantly organized, that I sent over 3 weeks ago and spent a load of money on, NEVER made it to his house. Now it seems that all of that wasn't even necessary.

I am not resting until he actually has the 221g in his hands and then until he has his visa in his hands!

Once he gets home and can talk a little slooooower, I will give more details of the interview.

All I can say is....MEN!

I have told my husband time and time again, just take everything. He tells me "oh no, its too much", but the minute you leave something out, that is what they want....lol

It sounds good though, and I find its quite common that they don't look at anything really if they don't have some doubts....of course they didn't look at ours and they sent it back...lol Crazy consulate!

All in all, it sounds like you will have the Visa soon Incha Allah. Congratulations.

He waited about 3 hours and then the interview lasted around 45 minutes. He said she was very nice but very tough too. Here are the questions (if I can remember them all...):

What is your fiance's name?

Where does she live?

Where does she work?

When was she born?

How did you meet her?

When did you meet her?

When did you become engaged?

What made you decide to use the internet to find her?

Is she divorced?

What is her ex-husband's name?

When did she get divorced?

How long were they together?

Does she have children?

How many?

What are their names?

How old is she?

When was she born?

How long has she been working for XYZ?

Have you met her parents?

Have you talked to them on the phone?

Do they approve of your relationship?

Does your family approve of your relationship?

When was your fiance party?

Who was there?

Were any of her family there? (She seemed surprised that they weren't  )

Why weren't they there?

Where did you have the fiance party? (Again, she seemed surprised that it was at his house-He said welllllll...where would you like for us to have it? :hehe: )

Why didn't she bring her children? (Father stopped the passport application- )

What religion is she?

What is your religion?

When did she visit you?

How long did she stay each visit?

What do you do for work?

How do you communicate with her?

How many times a day do you talk to her on the phone?

She asked for the emails.

She asked to see the pictures.

Why does she only have one dress?

Why are all of the pictures with her just in one dress? (he told her that he has 100's of pictures and she told him to bring more for his file)

I know there are more questions and I'll post them as I remember them. He said he made her laugh through the entire interview. He heard the person next to him being asked: How long have her parent's been divorced? I thought that was an unusual question.

She told him that he did very well and she gave him the 221g with a box marked: Need additional photos. She told him to just come back tomorrow at 1:30pm and give the photos to the man at the window with your passport. He asked what should I tell my fiance? She said to tell her that everything is fine and that he is approved and all he has to do is wait for her call.

I couldn't sleep at all. So what better way to pass the time than Visa Journey and Spider Solitaire? I'm waiting on pins and needles to hear from him!

Have you heard yet? I am wishing the best for you!

I hope things go well for you! Its good that they are giving him a chance to bring the additional photos, far from the Casa we used to have to deal with where there we no second chances. And thank you for the interview details! It is extremely helpful for Ahmed and I because he is having his interview on Monday. We've been studying hard, and it looks like we've been studying for the right questions. Again, best of luck for a speedy approval!
