Are you suppose to have a fresh copy of I-864 and most current pay-stubs at interview? Do they even ask for this information or what? Especially Lagos do they ask for all this.

And what if you changed jobs between NVC and interview do you bring new stuff or leave it alone. I mean do they call or what? No unemployment just maybe a different position. Salary continues.

The embassy does get everything that's sent to the NVC, but things can have a tendency to "get lost." I was asked for my wife's tax return transcript at my interview. I didn't have it, and had to have the CO look through the file again, explaining that my wife had sent it to the NVC. She did look and luckily she found it.

I don't know what to do if you changed jobs. If you still make above the minimum requirement I'd probably send your husband a new work contract/employer letter and the most recent pay stub.

What they will ask you for, will be in regards of the form you submitted. You've already sent the I-864 along with certain supporting documents.they have that form, bring the original supporting documents to the interview, and, I would suggest, do not over think it, you will be fine.

Dwheels, thanks for your question, I was wondering the same thing. I think you and I are at at the same point in our process. I rather be more prepared than I have to be.

They did not ask us for ours Debbie, but I did send in Tax transcripts along with the original envelope they were forwarded in so they could see, folds and all, they had received the originals. In addition, I included a letter from my boss and the most current check stub I had (at the time of submitting the I-864EZ) that showed my Year to date totals and deductions.

I had my husband take a copy of everything I had forwarded to the NVC with him just in case they had lost a folder.
