my fiance had his interview last week in Ankara Turkey and we had pictures of my ring and our wedding invitation and no mention of the receipt, he did not have and they did not ask

it's not written anywhere that you have to take with you the receipt.

My mother gave me the engagement ring for my fiancee.

Take with you dated photos, skype logs, joint expenses receipts, hotel receipts, flight receipts, everything you need to prove the ongoing relationship

Don't worry about the receipt. Show photos of you both, conversations and emails that show that your relationship is genuine.

They dont usually ask for the receipt in Lagos, so dont worry yourself about it
