i would make some laser labels with the bio stuff on each of you,

then put the label on the back of each photo

then put all the photos into a baggie, with a laser label on the baggie

then staple the baggie to a blank sheet o paper, having a laser label on it..

all that stuff will get scanned, Debbie.

A weird question, but do they scan in the photo books too? That could get rather tedious for them, no?

I could see why you'd want them - so the consular officer can leaf through them...but is all that really really scanned? Even with the people with 20 pounds of proof?

I'm just curious... if you aren't worried about possibly losing the money you spent on the books, then why not just spend an extra 10 bucks and print photos at walgreens or walmart. Then your book is never touched.

Please understand, it's different for IV units that are listed as 'high fraud' - so what works for Manila IV doesn't necessarily work for Accra, Lagos, Guangzhou, Cuidad de Juarez, Islamabad, Casablanca IV units.

fwiw, nothing is thrown in the trash - it's all added to the casefile at NVC.

see bleuawolf - http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/267559-usa-is-now-arizona/page__view__findpost__p__4100571 for the scoop.

Be Good !! (or something... if you can't be good, don't get caught, aye?)

Yup, works the same way for electronic processing at NVC. You scan em, YOU email them in to NVC. You'll have some fun, though, as you're gonna create PDF files from the photos...

Thank you Darnell! :) LOL, yes I am sure that it's gonna be fun coverting everything into PDF files haha, THANKS for the info!! :star:

actually, when you send the DS-230 in, you must submit original documents and copies, they will return the originals at interview.

I'm not sure if you were referring to me or the op. but I've done my interview. So no need to tell me what happens there. I do know that I had to give them a copy of my marriage and birth certificate. Can't tell if the lawyer put photocopies initially when he submitted the packet. But if you carefully read the preparation for immigrant visa interview abroad, it's clearly stated( perhaps for Nigeria, perhaps not). Here I quote directly. "Do I need to bring copies of the originals submitted to the NVC?

If photocopies of original documents were not provided to the NVC with the original submission, they should be presented during the visa interview so that the original documents may be returned to you."

. That statement alone shows that there is no such thing as must. By all means, give your advice but leave me out of it.

A lot of helpfull info her thanks guys .. But i also have a question .. Do you have to write a Description on the back of each photo , like where it was taking and who appers in it ?

Also when it comes down to case coplete and interview Schedulling , how do they Schedule interviews ? Do they do it based on who got case coplete first from the same country ? Or based on the Priority date listed on I-130 approval notice ? Thanks .

Its not a MUST for you to write a description or dates behind the photos, But sometimes its necessary for some people.... I didn't include any behind my photos and I was good with it......

Concerning scheduling interview dates, they schedule based on your priority date, I noticed that during my time cos some people had case completed before me and I had an early before them cos of my priority date, by the way am talking from experience based on Nigeria timelines anyways...... hope am clear enough
