Hi.

So I completed my criminal record check because I should be getting my I-130 approval soon. I received the certificate notarized with the RCMP seal engraved into the paper. Everything looks good, but the part that says Landed Immigrant Status. I told them I was immigrating to the USA. They checked off Immigration to Canada for some reason. Not complaining if it will not make a difference. RCMP said that it shouldn't make a difference. A notarized criminal record check is official no matter what reason you check off they said.

Was wondering if anyone else ran into this issue. They did everything with my fingerprints and I came back clean.

I told them the reason should have been visa...since I'm applying for an immigrant visa.

Should this be an issue?

05/03/2022: Status changed to "The U.S. Department of State approved your application for your passport book. We're now printing your passport book and preparing to give it to you. You should receive your passport book on or around 05/09/2022."

05/05/2022: Passport Received.

05/09/2022: SSA Citizenship Status Updated.

05/25/2022: Naturalization Certificate received in mail.

So long as it indicates that you were searched in the national records repository or had a CPIC check with your name and date of birth you should be fine.
