you can expect it any 6 days a week, united states postal only works 5 and a half days, if you filed G-1145 you may get a e.mail on saturday or sunday on the approval.

Thanks! I have done the G-1145. So they work on the weekends?

You sure can get it on a weekend! I got our email/text that our I-129f was approved on a Saturday.

Get a 8 ball and see what surfaces. Welcome to the USCIS mystery game. OH, time lines might give all of us a hint.

In Arizona its hot hot hot.

Thanks!

It seems that most people who have posted are the K1 applicants. Has anyone with IR-1/CR-1 case also receive their NOA2 on a weekend?

As it relates to the question you asked I would say visa category doesn't make a difference.

It's unlikely that they are working to adjudicate petitions on the weekends but the computer system does update on weekends and therefore people do get electronic notifications on Saturdays and Sundays.

I see! That explains a lot, thank you!

Has anyone got an NOA2 notice visa email, and noticed that it still says "initial review" on the USCIS website? I put in a service request last week and got an email saying we've been approved on Wednesday, but the website still has us listed as initial review. Kinda weird, and nerve-wracking for someone as paranoid as I am. Sorry if I'm thread-jacking, but it seemed related and I don't wanna clutter the boards with more topics.
