yes, but their lime green force shields and steel disintegrator rays make your .30-06 worthless to stand up to them! Yeah, the probability is admittedly a bit low for this happening but he did say he wanted to be prepared for every possibility. Though he did not say 'well' prepared or 'adequately' prepared.

I am not well prepared to face most religion's version of judgment day but I don't worry too much. I WOULD like to find people who really believe the mayan calendar apocalypse theory and offer to buy everything of value they own, heavily discounted of course, but let them use it till after Dec 22. Then it will be mine. It is a win/win situation. At least until Dec 22.
