A scrapbook would be awesome, for you. I don't think it's appropriate for a K1 interview.

I think an actual scrapbook (with what, hearts and ribbons all over it?) would be really weird and inappropriate for the interview, so ... no.

That said, photo collage pages, and even photos mixed on a page with postcards or chat logs, is -- as far as I'm aware -- absolutely fine. So it depends on your definition of scrapbook: if you want to put 3-4 photos on a single page, and add captions describing what the photos are, I think that's fine. But I would go very very lightly on any "decor" ... just the photos and information as to what they are EVIDENCE of is what the consular officers need.

In theory anything is acceptable except electronic media, however keep in mind that most interviews are done at a window, like a bank teller window and the evidence has to be passed under a slot in the window. You may end up having to rip all the photos out of your scrapbook to get them through the slot. Ask people who have interviewed at that consulate.

I did! I loved doing it! I took it to our interview and they loved it too! It showed pictures, and airline tickets, places we've been to...family gatherings etc. I think it's a perfect way to show how much in love you are! Good luck! <3

Well in my case the CO didnt care to ask and look for our photos, i guess my paper works itself were enough for them to give me an approval...maybe depends on the consul who will goin to interview you
