What to bring during Biometric Appointment?

Hello guys,

anyone had there biometric done? what are the things to bring? and are you going to be interviewed also during that time or it is plainly finger printing and your photo taken?

looking forward for your response as my biometric appointment will be tomorrow in atlanta. :thumbs:

Last time i went in there i brought with me the appointment letter and an ID! I was done and out in less than 20 minutes.

It's not an interview !!

Bring appointment letter and ID, this will not be the interview.

thank you for your reply. how many id's they will asked? i only have my passport and my social security for now being in this country for almost 3 months. :dance:

just so curious, during the bio, is it only finger printing and photo taken?

I was told to also take a copy of your marriage certificate if you filed your AOS with your wife's new name as the passport will only have her maiden name. Certainly can't hurt and better to have and not need than vice versa. Good luck!

Agree with this. They asked for my marriage certificate because the name in the passport was different from the biometrics letter.

Aug 03, 2012 - Received NOA ( AOS, EAD, AP)

Aug 08, 2012 - Received Biometrics Letter Appointment

Aug 17, 2012 - Received RFE Letter

Aug 24, 2012 - Biometrics at USCIS Charlotte

Sep 05, 2012 - USCIS received response to RFE

Oct 06, 2012 - EAD Card Production

Oct 15, 2012 - EAD/AP combo card on hand

May 07, 2013 - AOS approved

May 16, 2013 - Permanent Resident Card received

- Apr 13th, 2012 - Visa received - Aug 24th, 2012 - Green Card received

ROC Timeline

- May 19th, 2014 - Mailed ROC package to CSC

- Aug 8th, 2014 - Green Card received

N-400 Timeline

- Dec 29th, 2021 - Filed online. Got notice that biometrics will be reused.

- Now waiting...
