Day 11/14 Mailed AOS Package

Day 11/16 AOS Package Accepted

Day 11/20 Received Text with receipt numbers

Day 11/21 Checks cashed

Day 11/26 -Letter for Biometrix - its on 12/20

Day 12/20/ went to do biometrics, turn away as wife has a cut on thumb - will try to walk in next week

Day 12/28 - bio metrics done ! - walked in San Diego as we were visiting my in laws.

Day 1/4/2013 - received text/email that case is ready to be scheduled for interview !

Day 1/15/2013 - received hard copy letter to let us know interview is on 2/12 !

Day 1/17/2013 - received text/email that EAD has been approved

Day 1/26/2013 - received EAD card

Day 2/12 - interview done - approved on spot!

I found this link on the USCIS website that tells you what steps to take: change of address. You most likely fall in the second category/box. Hope this helps!!!

Hi everyone , an update on my situation. i initially filed for I130 seperately then decided to ASO.

i got my text and email yetserday from USCIS and we got approved !! sent in my I130 9/11 and approved on 11/28.

I am still waiting for my hard copy NOA from my ASO packet. i am going to call and double check that my case is linked with my seperate I130 as we are Adusting status and don't want my case sent to NVC.

any suggestions or ideas i should take to ensure my I130 and 485 are togher?

Hi everyone ! my wife got her notice for biometrics to be done on 12/20 !

we are happy with the fast progress so far, hopefully it'll continue to go fast and get an interview date after the holidays.

I finally sent out my AOS package after months of gathering documents and palpitations. I didn't see a similar thread to this one, so I decided to create one as a little corner for all of us in the same boat.

My package was sent on 11/13 vis USPS so it should arrive by tomorrow.

Let's use this thread as a space for encouragement and updates.

thats good. i think me and you are close in situation.My package got sent on the 20th of nov and check got chased yesterday when i look at my bank account. so lets keep imformed

Day 00: Nov/20/12: AOS Package sent(all Forms)

Nov/23/12: at 9:27 A.M.Package signed and recieved

Nov/29/12: Check cashed

Dec/03/12: Recieved Receipts and Biometrics appointment

Dec/20/12: Biometrics appointment

Jan/2/13. : received email an text. Ready for Testing and interview

Jan/23/13: text and email that EAD and AP approved!!!! Yes!!!!!!!

Day 70: Jan/29/13: Card/Document Production

Day 73: Feb/01/13: Recieved EAD card.

Day 101: recieved text/email that AOS interview is April 2nd.

Day--- : AOS approved for green card. Got stamp in passport.

Strange thing happened in my case

When i logged in to USCIS website and check my portfolio of cases i found out that for me and my wife the I131 says approved

and 765 says card in Production

I am not done with my fingerprinting yet

Not sure whats going on .... Please reply if anyone in this forum has ever seen such a case.

I don't know if i have to celebrate or get scared that something went terribly wrong

July 2012 Perm applied

Sep 2012 Perm approved

Oct 2012 Medical evaluation with Civil Surgeon. TB skin test & Blood test cleared.

Nov – 6 2012 My attorney submitted I 140 & I 485 for me and 485 for my wife

Nov - 8 2012 Texas Center received the application

Nov - 14 2012 NOA sent

Nov - 19 2012 NOA for AOS , AP, EAD received for me and my wife

Nov - 21 2012 Biometric appointment notice received (appointmnet Date Dec-12-2012)

Yay! Welcome Storm24. Yes we have similar timing. I will definitely update as soon as I get hear anything. So far, I'm waiting on my biometrics appointment.

It's funny I live not too far from an "application support center" and always drove past it, but never knew what happens in there because it's so cryptic. My mom who doesn't even live in this country was the one who said "that's where you'll be going for your fingerprint" LOL! I doubted her, came home and turned to trusty google. Of course she was right.

Can't wait to attempt a walk-in :yes:

Tried checking my status online with my MSC receipt numbers but it says my case cannot be found. Anyone have a similar situation? How long after NOA hard copies were you able to check your case status online?

Tried checking my status online with my MSC receipt numbers but it says my case cannot be found. Anyone have a similar situation? How long after NOA hard copies were you able to check your case status online?

I have same problem , got an MSC numbers. i thought i read some where there is a problem and it takes a month to sync ?

I have same problem , got an MSC numbers. i thought i read some where there is a problem and it takes a month to sync ?

I guess I'll be a bit patient with online status checks.

same timeline here - received text 11/20 ---our bio appointment is 12/20.

Ok now I'm a bit worried. Still no sign of mail for the biometrics appointment. Hopefully it's because of holiday shipping/ Hurricane Sandy.

Hi VJ community! :)

I too applied for AOS this November and have a similar timeline as Favoredones. I received my Biometrics and NOA hard copy (I-130 only) on 11/26. Anyone know why I did not receive NOA for I-485/I-765? I have a MSC receipt number and am totally unable to set up an account with the USCIS for updates of any kind.

Also, have heard that biometrics walk in's at the Dallas center are pretty unwelcome. I'm still going to try nevertheless. Anyone planning on an early walk in?
