We had our interview today at the NY office in Holtsville! The people there are the nicest ever!

We were approved on the spot, already got a stamp on my passport, as we leave on a trip tomorrow morning.

Couldn't be any happier with the way the USCIS managed our application.

We did it all by ourselves and everything went smoothly.

We got the best Valentine's present ever!

Good luck to everybody!

Day 11/21 Checks cashed

Day 11/26 -Letter for Biometrix - its on 12/20

Day 12/20/ went to do biometrics, turn away as wife has a cut on thumb - will try to walk in next week

Day 12/28 - bio metrics done ! - walked in San Diego as we were visiting my in laws.

Day 1/4/2013 - received text/email that case is ready to be scheduled for interview !

Day 1/15/2013 - received hard copy letter to let us know interview is on 2/12 !

Day 1/17/2013 - received text/email that EAD has been approved

Day 1/26/2013 - received EAD card

Day 2/12 - interview done - approved on spot!

just incase you haven't seen my other post on the progress report - we got approved on the spot ! we got the updated email and text this afternoon too.

On February 12, 2013, your I485, APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS was approved. You will be notified of the decision by mail. Please check our website at www.uscis.gov for further updates on your case, including when the approval notice is mailed. If you do not receive the approval notice within 30 days, please call customer service at 1-800-375-5283 for further assistance.

I had my interview yesterday (Feb 19th) at Los Angeles office and I got an approval. The online status is also updated which says "On February 19, 2013, your I485, APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS was approved"

Hey guys , I just got my email and text that my interview is on April 2nd. Exactly a month from here, I really thought I would be waiting another couple months before I get it. But finally did and now time to start preparing.

AOS

Day 00: Nov/20/12: AOS Package sent(all Forms)

Nov/23/12: at 9:27 A.M.Package signed and recieved

Nov/29/12: Check cashed

Dec/03/12: Recieved Receipts and Biometrics appointment

Dec/20/12: Biometrics appointment

Jan/2/13. : received email an text. Ready for Testing and interview

Jan/23/13: text and email that EAD and AP approved!!!! Yes!!!!!!!

Day 70: Jan/29/13: Card/Document Production

Day 73: Feb/01/13: Recieved EAD card.

Day 101: recieved text/email that AOS interview is April 2nd.

Day--- : AOS approved for green card. Got stamp in passport.

Just mailed off our 2012 tax returns with the RFE today. We will have to wait and see what they say. It's past the allotted time to submit it, but we had no choice in the matter.

Day 00 11/02 Mailed AOS Package
Day 05 11/07 AOS Package Accepted (No online update)
Day 07 11/09 Checks cashed
Day 25 11/27 Biometrics appointment taken on date assigned
Day 26 11/28 Online status of I-485 shows RFE since 11/27, no other online updates
Day 29 12/01 RFE in hand. Requesting last year's tax return even though I sent the previous 2 yrs and current pay stub
Day 34 12/06 Appointment to expedite EAD/AP so she can get SSN to submit last year's taxes and respond to RFE
Day 34 12/06 Called after appointment failed, got told an expedite request will be submitted for EAD/AP
Day 35 12/07 Received call about our RFE/expedite process, said we should have EAD within two weeks
Day 40 12/12 Checked USCIS in the morning and the EAD is in Decision status/AP is in Post Decision
Day 45 12/17 Text of status update, online says EAD card mailed today/AP no change
Day 47 12/19 EAD/AP combo card came in the mail
Day 59 12/31 Left country for 3 weeks

Just checking in to see if any November AOS filers (from a work visa) are still waiting for an interview date like me? Its been 2.5 months since mine went to "ready for interview scheduling". I think it is because my local office is NYC Federal Plaza, but still, any clues as to whether this is completely abnormal or not would be good!

05/09/13, Day 180 - Green Card received.

For those looking at my timeline, I believe why mine took 6 months was partly due to Hurricane Sandy in NYC causing delays in interview scheduling.

03/16/15 - Received NOA

04/30/15 - Conditional Green Card will expire

Well, I got letters in the mail saying that because I did not answer within the 87 days they specified, they were canceling the application. These letters were dated 18 March. The RFE response I got a few days ago was received 19 March. I think they closed it and reopened it the next day. That's what it looks like anyway. I will just wait and see what happens. Guess I should have Next Day'ed the response :/
