Hello,

On December 3rd my 5 months waiting period will hit. From my understanding, it is at this time that I can contact one of the departments to receive a status update. My question is between infopass, service request, NCS, or CSC, who should I contact to attempt to get this update?

Thank you!

I sure wish I had the answer to your question. Can you tell me what I should be asking the person who I talk to? Case status?

It took 6 months for me at CSC, just call and ask for a service request, after we did that they contact us a week after.

Good luck

Did you wait for your 5 month date to expire before you wrote them?

as soon as you hit the average expected processing time mark for that center they will file a request to get an udpate status which takes about 2 weeks to get a response. I say call them on Dec 3, and prepare to spend couple of hours on the phone.

I'd personally just keep waiting. The 5 month is an average; good friends of ours took 10 months with no RFEs.

Phil (Lockport, near Chicago) and Alla (Lobnya, near Moscow)

As of Dec 7, 2009, now Zero miles apart (literally)!

Wow, a couple hours on the phone with these folks...Sounds like great fun! Thanks for your help. Have a great weekend.
