Hi, we included the required forms, pictures of us together with information of picture and date on back of pictures. We also included copies of flight information, hotel information, receipts from everything, no matter how big or small it is, picture of engagement ring receipts, chat logs, emails, phone records. Make sure you have a brief summary of how you and your fiance met and how your relationship has evolved for question #18 and proof of ongoing relationship. Don't forget the letters of intent to marry from both of you.

I hope this helps. Good luck

I Looooooove my baby Lyn.

The difference of front-loading and not fromt-loading for Lagos is this. When you send in your petition especially for K1 you only have once chance to get your best and most powerful evidence into the hands of the CO. This petition you prepare is what the CO reads through and determines if your relationship is Bonafide or not. If you don't. If you just send some Visa stamps. no pics, communications just a letter, basically the bare minuimum or the "required docs". Well how is a person suppose to deduce from that the relationship is real. You want to paint the best and most powerful portrait of two people who love each other and want to be together no matter what. Also remember even though you are asked to bring evidence to an interview an interview is not the time to present evidence. That is word from the CO themselves it should have already been done. You may never be asked at an interview for a thing and be denied. It would be a shame to be denied when you hand in your hands the very thing that would convince them. <BR><BR>And remember this is key from the thread that was mentioned above.<BR><BR><STRONG>"For others, front-loading is crucial, because the CO can refuse to accept evidence brought to the interview and then claim that the existing evidence is insufficient."</STRONG> Edited by dwheels76

Debbie you know you the best, thank you I know this, just needed to hear or read this again.....guess I am doubting my self......yes and for Lagos you have to go above and beyond and for K1 yes you only have one shot, unlike CR1 where you can add at NVC...so true......Thank you for the reassurance....:D

Keep on taking more pictures, more chat logs, more phone calls(alot),more visit(if possible).Just things to prove that you are both communicating very well with each other. And some proof of communication with both inlaws will help too..Start saving all these evidence for your interview.cos you will need it.Once you are approved ,you are fine.its the interview that matters alot.

Girlllllllllllllllllllllllllll I feel ya. I have 1491 pages of extra evidence and it weighs 20 lbs. First iit was for interview. Than I said no I will send with packet to NVC. Now I am like I don't know. I mean save me the time and effort to lug to Lagos when I go there i December (hey no postage 20 lbs ain't no joke.

Than I am like I might just really piss off somebody. So since I should be ready to send this final DS-230 packet to NVC next week the next few days I will open that 20 lbs box and look over one last time and take out maybe reduce a page or two.

But front-load baby. You have seen the reviews and know what you need to do. Those approvals have been people who front-loaded and look weren't ask for anything hardly at interview.

One thing I know CO's love love picture albums at interviews the originals. I guess sometimes they can be sentimental. :D

Not Lagos, but we front-loaded for Nairobi & were very, very meticulous about assembling the petition package (lots of labels, lists, captions, etc.). At the interview (for which I was in town, but of course not allowed to attend), he was only asked a few questions (mostly about my visits, whereabouts, etc.) and the CO did not ask for any additional evidence. So, front-loading was definitely worthwhile in our case.
