Ksenia still has not received anything in the mail from the embassy, and her interview is scheduled for November 8. I sent a query to the embassy, via e-mail. The consular verified that her interview is scheduled for November 8, but they did not answer additional questions. And she has e-mailed the embassy without response.

She has all necessary documents ready and in hand, and she plans to show up as scheduled.

Some questions:

(1) Would she have needed to deliver anything to the embassy in advance of the interview date?

(2) Should she go ahead and complete the signature blocks on the Forms DS-230 and DS-156 prior to the interview?

Thanks.

(Almost there.)

PEOPLE: READ THE APPLICATION FORM INSTRUCTIONS!!!! They have a lot of good information in them! Most of the questions I see on VJ are clearly addressed by the form instructions. Give them a read!! If you are unable to understand the form instructions, I highly recommend hiring someone who does to help you with the process. Our process, from K-1 to Citizenship and U.S. Passport is completed. Good luck with your process.

Be aware that Moscow has gone electronic on some forms. Check the Moscow website! I could be wrong but I think one of them is the DS-156

YMMV

After reviewing the forms again:

She will sign only on Page 2 (Part I) of the DS-230 prior to the interview;

- the signature blocks on Page 4 (Part II) are completed during the interview;

- pages 3 and 4 (Part II) were completed for each of them - Ksenia and daughters.

They will go ahead and sign their DS-156 ahead of the interview;

- the Form DS-156 was completed online for each of them.

And she will wait to sign the DS-156K.
