Sep 05, 2012 - USCIS received response to RFE

Oct 06, 2012 - EAD Card Production

Oct 15, 2012 - EAD/AP combo card on hand

May 07, 2013 - AOS approved

May 16, 2013 - Permanent Resident Card received

Hello!:)

I am not sure whether I post this message at the right place. I applied in May for a tourist visa and wrote there that I wanted to go to see my boyfriend. My visa was denied. A few months after that I should have gone on the business trip ( and that had nothing with my previous application, the company I have been working for should have paid a trip, hotel, etc ) but my business visa was rejected because of the previous one. They thought that I lied for my trip. In the meantime I got engaged with my boyfriend whom I wanted to visit and he and I want to apply for K-1 visa. Is there a problem to apply for this visa since I have been rejected for two times? Thanks a lot. :)

January 15, 2012 met on line

April 18, 2012 met in person in Cebu

April 20, 2012 proposed

May 28, 2012 filed K1

June 6, 2012 received email K1 accepted.

August 28, 2012 NOA2 approved!!!!!!!

September 21, 2012 went back for vist number 2

Had a wonderful time!

Interview set for November 6

Flying out November 3 to be together

Arrived November 4

November 6, 2013 interview and approved

November 14, 2013 picked up visa!

November 29, 2013 arrived in Anchorage

November 30, 2013 applied for marriage license

December 15, 2013 civil wedding

February 16, 2013 AOS filed

February 23, 2013 NOA 1 reviewed

April 4, 2013 Biometric appointment

May 9, 2013 AOS intervie

May 9, 2013 Approved ap, ead and green card

May 18, 2013 received Green Card, EAD and AP in mail

Well,

When you are approved the consular must congratulate you and tell you when your visa and passport will be ready for pick up or will be sent to you if you have that service.

If you are denied the consular will issue you a denial notice and keep your passport if you have some more document to provide ...your visa may be issued later if you present what is mentioned missing on the denial notice.

You will be given back your passport with DENIED stamp if it is a categoric NO.

Sometimes they keep your passport for an approved visa but they end up in AP for some reasons.

But let say you are approved and Congrat

NB:I am not an Immigration Attorney, All i say here is based on my personal experiences through K-1 visa process and CR1/IR1 visa process.
