9 months AP for female at Islamabad

dos told my ma wife that your ap is in final process on 23 oct12 some genious on this form post that it should not take more then 15 days to issue the visa but know its more then 15days ma wife again call the dos know they r telling the same old story your case is in admin process they r not ready to define it in final process we both r very confused our interview was on 9 march 12 at islamabad us embassy we r in 9th month of process please help us to on this issue we need to know what is final process

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.

Timeline

If they say final process that means it is in the final stages of AP. They usually just say its still pending AP or still pending the process if there is no clear end in sight. The fact they told you it's in the final process means they see the ending near. The amount of time from final process until you receive the visa is completely unclear BUT have hope that it won't be long. I've seen those from ISL have printed visas still take a month to receive. There is no real clear time frame for when it will be in your hands but have hope it won't be long.

06/21/2011 Submitted requested docs..under review
07/25/2011 CO called did phone interview result: PENDING MANDATORY AP/CO told us they have to do namechecks

03/07/2013 Case returned to USCIS waiting for NOIR/reaffirmation

04/18/2013 USCIS received case for review

08/19/2013 Received NOIR to respond by 9/18/2013

9/9/2013 Responded to NOIR/USCIS received documents awaiting response

9/20/2013 USCIS reaffirmed sent to embassy

1/04/14 Case opened for review

8/31/15 Interview- no questions visa approved on the spot

9/8/15 visa status issued

9/10/15 visa received

9/19/15 POE Charlotte

thanks amina as u know we are in ap since from 9 months u can understand our position she had the two kid from her ex she had to look after them even being a travel agent i can arrange the tickets for her but there are many problems she had to face especialy job and kids when ever she get the little hope she gets happy and i too i pray for all who had the same sitution like us like u thanks for reply

Yes, I can completely understand, we have been in AP for 17 months and are in the very same position... including children, one with a severe medical issue right now. I pray you hear some good news soon! Also just for future, don't rely on replies that give you an exact time since it rarely works out that way, each case is unique.. All the best to you!

penguin my time line is very visible you can see my profile too we both r divorced and both have kids she is my julite since chlid hood we met after 24 years and got married as we met
