Hi VJ Family,

I know this has been asked in the past, but still wanted clarification....

Will NVC schedule the interview date as soon as the case is closed at NVC? OR

Do I have to wait until it reaches the consulate and then does the consulate schedule the interview?

is this for a spouse visa marriage cr1 i know for marriage visas the nvc schedules the interview but for fiance visas the embassy consulate does...not sure if it depends on the country but ours is at the nvc and we are in line waiting for interview date...

This is for IR1 visa. My wife is American and I am Indian.
