Huh? What's confusing about it? In this post, someone said Democrats vote based on race. I asked for proof of that. There's no kidding anyone. It's really very simple, Danno. :) Go back and read it. I promise it's there.

You call his contention of "people voted for Obama because he was Black" into question.... yet you do the same exact thing with groups on the Right.

That aside, had it been a white Dem running the Blacks would have also voted in huge proportions for them so I don't think they voted for him "just because he is Black"

but I can say with certainty that the "surge" in Black voter turn out in the last two elections was almost exclusively due to his race.

But so what, thats a reality, probably Catholics turned out in greater numbers for Kennedy.

It's a reality.... one that would somehow be wrong if whites did it due to race.

Someone posted that Obama got 94% of the black vote. All I did was ask how many of those voted based purely on race. I've said it numerous times, there are people who voted for Obama because he's black. There are also people who did not vote for Obama because he's black. You're right, that is a reality.

But to make a blanket statement that Democrats in general vote based on race is incorrect.

And if Romney had gotten 94% of the white vote what would some people be saying? Do the math. 94 out of every 100. Ya that's nothing to think about eh.

"I want to take this opportunity to mention how thankful I am for an Obama re-election. The choice was clear. We cannot live in a country that treats homosexuals and women as second class citizens. Homosexuals deserve all of the rights and benefits of marriage that heterosexuals receive. Women deserve to be treated with respect and their salaries should not depend on their gender, but their quality of work. I am also thankful that the great, progressive state of California once again voted for the correct President. America is moving forward, and the direction is a positive one."

Like I said, some people vote based on race. To generalize and say it's an entire party is incorrect.

They did not vote based on race. African Americans have supported the Democratic candidate at 90%+ levels for a long time no matter the color of the skin of the candidate. Get yer facts straight. It'll help manage your paranoia.

Again. You do not know that 94 out of every 100 voted based on race. Just because they are also black does not mean the that is the reason they voted for Obama.

I agree Democrats do not vote based on race usually. Blacks I disagree with you on that. Blacks had to stick together at all costs during segregation and Jim Crowe. They still do. It's a unity thing. Marion Berry !

Like Bobby Jendal?

Yup

Hypothetically speaking, if an Asian American who is capable of getting the unemployment rate down to 2%, capable of turning the deficit into a surplus, would you vote for this dude?

You can also post your reason of why you don't want it. I'm curious.

i don't get it.
