Yet surprisingly have poor eyesight and difficulty pronouncing the letter 'L.'

For such a liberal you are quite the racist.

So if I had said blacks are athletic and but can't pronounce O correctly I bet your head would have exploded---HYPOCRITE

 What does this MEAN?

And why won't people back up the "Democrats vote on race" thing?

I've been told that Obama got 94% of the black vote. Can I get some statistics on how many voted that way due to race alone? Thanks :)

This guy would have my vote as the first openly gay, Asian American president.

I was being facetious. I personally have a deep dislike for hyphenation. An American is an American, even if you were born in another country, the moment you take the oath you become an American. No hyphens, no caveats.

This is how my wife describes me when they ask about her husband. "My husband is Asian outside, but American inside." I find it quite funny and never looked it that way.

It has nothing to do with Obama. It is about a thread full of stereotypes and racial slurs against Asians.

"I want to take this opportunity to mention how thankful I am for an Obama re-election. The choice was clear. We cannot live in a country that treats homosexuals and women as second class citizens. Homosexuals deserve all of the rights and benefits of marriage that heterosexuals receive. Women deserve to be treated with respect and their salaries should not depend on their gender, but their quality of work. I am also thankful that the great, progressive state of California once again voted for the correct President. America is moving forward, and the direction is a positive one."

You are the one who stated Democrats vote based on race. I questioned that statement, and someone threw Obama stats at me. Unfortunately that's where it ended because nobody backed anything up.

(I agree that the racial slurs and stereotypes are offensive)

I do not separate my fellow Americans based on their ethnic background or what continent they or their ancestors came from. I would vote for a person to become President of the Untied States if they are qualified for the job. An American is an American is an American and nothing else.

There is no room in this country for hyphenated Americanism. When I refer to hyphenated Americans, I do not refer to naturalized Americans. Some of the very best Americans I have ever known were naturalized Americans, Americans born abroad. But a hyphenated American is not an American at all . . . . The one absolutely certain way of bringing this nation to ruin, of preventing all possibility of its continuing to be a nation at all, would be to permit it to become a tangle of squabbling nationalities, an intricate knot of German-Americans, Irish-Americans, English-Americans, French-Americans, Scandinavian-Americans or Italian-Americans, each preserving its separate nationality, each at heart feeling more sympathy with Europeans of that nationality, than with the other citizens of the American Republic . . . . There is no such thing as a hyphenated American who is a good American. The only man who is a good American is the man who is an American and nothing else.

Why not a brown Asian? What does the color of the Asian have to do with if you will vote for an Asian American?

alas, for me, it's a personal preference.

Please note the definition of 'Asian' varies between Europe and the USA.

The definition in USA has gradually morphed , these last few years, to resemble the European definition.

I thought to delineate for this topic, so I wrote what I wrote.

He was jilted by a lovely Pinay, no doubt.

Oh no, not me ;)

You are thinking of Darrell, perhaps? :D

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
