Passport Copies

Closing in on the end of I-129 prep here, does it ever feel good to see the light at the end of the tunnel (not that I don't understand that there will be more tunnels to come).

Included in the evidence that we have met in the past couple years will be scans of the relevant pages from both of our passports. My question is, would it be better to just send complete scans of both of our passports?

Copies of all pages of the petitioner's passport is require to show prove of citizenship. For the beneficiary, unless it shows that you've traveled together or been to US to see you within 2 years time then yes. In our case we traveled together to Singapore, Malaysia and back to Manila so we sent it with the I-129F petition.

Thanks for your response! I thought that a full copy of the passport was only required as a substitute for a birth certificate. From part three of the I-129F Instructions:

"3D. In place of any of the above [3A lists birth certificate as acceptable proof of citizenship], you may give USCIS a copy of your valid, unexpired U.S. passport issued with a validity period of at least five years. You must submit copies of all pages in the passport"

I am submitting my birth certificate, so the scans from the passport are not to prove my citizenship, but to prove that I have made trips to Japan. The same is true for my Fiance. This being the case, I was thinking that I might only include the relevant pages. Thoughts?

Yes all pages of passport or Birth Certificate for natural born citizen.

Then by all means go ahead, no harm done if you have more evidence.
