ok so I am currently in the US and my husband is home in JOrdan as I came home to have our baby due to veterans benefits that cover the birth and pregnancy etc..as well as insurance for the babys shots etc..now my husband is in line for an interview hopefully we find out soon..He has not met his son yet..I have not gone back to JOrdan for a few reasons the pediatrician said it is not reccomended for the baby to travel until atleast 6 months of age and he is 5 months now cause of shots etc..and of course financially its expensive..so I will not be able to attend his interview with him..Will this set off a red flag or will they understand why I have not gone back...I am worried about this we have plenty of evidence my family even came to JOrdan for our wedding and my sister and fiance met him they went to Jordan not for the wedding but months later so he has met my family my family has met his family we have photos skype conversations with pictures etc and we have a child..plus other stuff I lived in Jordan for almost a year etc I even worked there..so I am worried that cause I am not at the interview they will be suspicious ..

have you read of a requirement where both spouses must attend? if so, what was the source, and can that source be vetted?

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

Nowhere does it say both spouses must attend I am just worried cause we are married and currently arent even in the same country and we have a child but like I explained above why I have not traveled back yet..I just thought they might think its odd that we have a child and he hasnt met him yet why I have not gone there..All I do know is sometimes they can request both spouses present but not likely we havent received our interview date yet..was hoping for december but I just called and they are done scheduling for december so looks like January will be the month for the interview. That will make it a year since I have seen my husband last

You could go to your doctor and have him draft a letter on hospital letter head saying you should not travel. and email to husband for interview. I am sure if he mentions you had a baby they will understand. But suspicious no why. You wouldn't be asked inside I doubt anyway.

Ok so my husband is in line for his interview in Jordan he didnt make the december cut so probably January which gives us some time..Well I have only been to Jordan once now we have seen eachother before that also in China when he went there for studies( prior to marriage) anyways we have a son who is 5 months who he has not met yet...I have not been back to JOrdan since I came home to have the baby due to veterans benefits covering pregnancy and birth..I have not been back cause our sons pediatrician told us it is not reccomended for the baby to travel until atleast 6 months of age or older due to shots etc...So I am wondering if they may question why I am not there with my husband etc why I have not been back would it be wise to get a letter from the doctor stating this for my husband to take to the interview..we are trying so hard to avoid AR which JOrdan seems to be fond of he would like to meet his son..:(any advice would be greatly appreciated thanks
