They do! Incredible. The KKK has done so well in wising up and concealing racism as "doing good things".

They destroyed what was a very strong family value system among black families which was a remnant of slavery, probably the best one, and have created a situation where 70% of black children are born into single parent households. Try to imagine the dynamics we see today in the 1930's or 1940's. Their fathers would have kicked their @ss! And their mothers would have dragged them by their ear to get their @ss kicked! They have effectively controlled the location of the vast majority of blacks. Health problems are highest among blacks on medicaid, obesity, diabetes and heart disease are just pervasive. Poor diet (love those food stamps) poor education, multi-generational welfare, throw in some man-made crack cocaine and meth labs (this works better than the alcohol they gave the Indians)and VOILA! A population of people as easily controlled as slaves.

I think the Rate is up around 80% and I am not sure when control anything, but the vote. It was LBJ and the great society that started this. It is nothing more than a reservation for democrat votes.

Let's look at it this way.

There are 5 million NRA members in the USA. About 1.5% of the population. No federal firearms laws have been proposed since 1994 when the AWB got Dems tosses from power after 40+ years.

Let's say they came to the NRA and said we are going to draw 6 safe districts for you...OK make it SEVEN (7) and you will always be guaranteed 7 NRA members in congress and 80% of the NRA members will live in those districts.

What do you think they would say?

Yet blacks make up nearly 10 times the population as NRA members and have less representation. Brilliant racist strategy

Oh but you do. On the blue side of the aisle in the House you will find that white males are no longer the majority. Rather, minorities and women now make up the majority of the Democratic caucus in the House. How are the Republicans doing with their diversity?

I had two questions in this post, no one on the left touched.

The Senate is elected on an "at large" basis, not by districts. As I said, doing that may result in less black faces (it does in the Senate) BUT it also results in ALL Senators being sensitive to issues affecting blacks, they cannot ignore them.

Democrats do not promote the advancement of blacks in either house of congress. With there being MORE representatives, and the districts affected by population it is impossible to eliminate blacks from the house but they CAN be controlled, confined and rendered irrelevent. The best the blacks can do is to caucus together (which they do) and throw their votes as a block behind certain issues. In this way they can be the difference on some house votes. Otherwise they are pretty impotent.

Republicans do not value symbolism over substance. Having 11 black faces confined to districts with vast majority black population does little to "represent" blacks in the house of 435 members. You make the assumoption that ONLY blacks can represent blacks (or minorities or other flavors) In practice this is almost true because Democrats have negated the effects of blacks in "white districts"

Throwing in "women" to take away the " white majority" ignores the fact that most of the women are white. And Republicans have plenty of women.

A delegatiopn of ALL white male Republicans, and I am sure there are few states like that (Kentucky used to be one) insures that they have to consider the issues affecting ALL their constituents.
