Hi,

I received a mail from Uscis that my case was forwarded in local office and I will have an interview in the future . They said they will mail it to me. My question is how long does it takes to receive an interview date for my ROC. Do I have to call the Uscis regarding this? It's been 3 weeks since they mailed me regarding my case.

Thanks

What was your interview like?

We got a stoke interview but it went smooth, not many personal sensitive questions but most likely concentrates on the date of our events

We separated for almost a year (because of work) but eventually we moved back in together~

And we have a whole box of document (we are really well prepared though).

It took about 4 months for my interview to be scheduled so it really depends on how busy they are.

Did you call the Uscis bout your interview? Would you share your experience? Please

Thank you

Sorry it's taken awhile to respond because of the holiday and everything. I didn't contact USCIS about my appointment date, honestly I was kind of dreading it, I did however have to get a I551 stamp in my passport because my 1 year extension was expiring before I even got the transfer notice. The gentleman that was helping me at the time did tell me that because of how backed up they were at the time (I went to get the stamp in June) that it would be September at the EARLIEST that I would get an interview date. So I really wasn't expecting to get anything before then, my interview date was Nov 7, I got the transfer notice at the end of July. So I wouldn't worry about it too much (I know this is hard to do!) but the local office is probably very backed up right now with other cases and they'll get you an interview date when they have a spot open.
