ours have changed from origination scan/ returned to post/ ready for pickup/ and now out for delivery? #######

Same here! I think it was ready for pick-up at the Embassy by the courier. And now, it's ready for delivery. I think we should be getting an update tomorrow by the courier service and have the passport/visa in our hands the same day or by Monday at least. This is it!!!

Riu i think we sort of going through the same thing right now except i am afraid ..and you're just waiting.

Anyway my theory is that your waiting period doesnt start from the final date of the interview, it starts on the day they received your missing documents. and these are some holidays here:

October 31 the us embassy was half day - some kind of a special holiday here im not sure what it was(we went there to try to do something about it)

November 1 and 2 -holiday for the phils

November 12 holiday for the us

Also not counting the weekends

So 2 weeks to a whole month for that since the day they received your missing documents till they issue the visa. I have mini stalked the other people here and some got theirs after 7 days some after 2 weeks and the ones with missing documents, like me..I dont know..hoping for the very best. By the way your fiancee is very lucky. My fiancee just sits back and relax and let me do all the worrying..hehe

Sure, i am aware of that. They got our documents on the 25th, and we were approved ( according to the ladies I have talked with, and processing to be printed since the 31 ) We had a national holiday, you are in ber months... i know all to well that there has only been about 7 business days that they have had to work on it. Perhaps I am over thinking it...

BTW, I am not the one who worries ( although from reading my posts you would assume otherwise ) she is the one who freaks out most of the time, but I must admit that this recent delay after almost 1 year of this process just kills me to no end. So, perhaps it is my time to be the crazy one! lol :)

you can say you dont think so, but they did. She was interviewed on the 19th. The paperwork for the lady I am speaking of was finished and sent to 2go the next day and she was out of the country and married by the 25th. I agree with the fact that we must wait... but its like just now. I called, and they said:

That's unbelievably fast! That would have been considered fast even when people were allowed to pick up their visa packet at the Embassy!

We said the same thing, considering she was 75 or something maybe that is why... maybe some expedite process was in place.. who knows. It was odd and I just wanted to see if this was normal... we have been waiting since the 31st ( for the person who asked ). Again good to hear some of them are processing. I pray that ours will be within the mix.

The embassy just released ours yesterday, which is great news! The downside, they released it to the wrong 2go office so it went to the main 2go office. If you are unaware the main 2go office is very very busy and it takes roughly 2 weeks to process the documents that go there. My fiancee had another friend who had the same issue. Luckily we have dealt with this before so on monday of next she will go there to pick it up before they send it out.

Congrats to Riu and to his wife for finally being together atlast. Like him Ive been calling the embassy for the last month. I also tried everything from the the tracking email to the 2Go website and it still says invalid. My fiance got interviewed last oct 24 which was also her birthday. We were hoping it would be like a birthday gift for her but oh well, you cant always get what you want. The interviewer said that the application is good and she passed but just have to verify something. SO 2 weeks has passed by after that and we havent heard anything so we tried to call them and they said its on administrative processing. Its just frustrating that they dont tell you what they need to verify something so that maybe you could help them or give them what they want. We are trying to be patient and everything but this is just too stressful.

AP can take a few weeks and it can take a month or more. You are going to have to be patient and keep checking the embassy website to track your visa.

I know that feeling all too well. I can promise you that once it is finished it wont matter. Thats hollow coming from somebody who just got it but I understand the desire and pain that goes with it. I remember just 2 weeks ago we were so upset and very down. She was crying often and I felt so helpless, now she is with me every night and there are new things for us to tackle and deal with! The journey doesnt stop once they get approved, let me tell you. Anyway, I will say prayers for you and hope that the process is speedy. I too wish they would just give you some more information than "call back next week"....
