Done that, heard that, checked them all, called them all emailed them all.

They are ignoring our emails now, when I do call they answer and then say call back at the end of the week, and no status change on ANY site. 2go says its not there and the Embassy says its being processed but is approved. So while I appreciate you trying to help I have done all of this, read the websites, talked to people, talked to people who just did it and completed, talked to people who did it previously.... all of them say that 12 days from approval to 2go is pretty bad. I just wrote my congressman today ( i know that will do nothing ) but something should be done to look at the way things are ran. If the Philippines is getting as much traffic as it is they should be boosting people in that region that they can handle that volume better. What kills me is that we are doing this the legal way, while legislation is in the works that will take illegal people and make them legal who are already here... yet I am still enduring these hardships and ensuring that we are patient and kind. The worst part, is hearing my fiancee cry and ask me why we cant be together sooner and I am unable to answer her... other than "we just have to wait mahal ko". It breaks my heart... to have to say those things.... when all i want to do is give her the world. *sighs*

Wellllll .... then you need to do one more thing..... relax and be patient.... it will arrive when it arrives and not a second sooner. B-)

It means that your passport is still at the Embassy and 2GO hasn't picked it up yet. 2GO will pick it up when the Embassy has it ready. When 2GO picks it up, they'll text you and then they'll deliver it in a day or two.

OIC..Thank you Tahoma for the idea...hoping this day or tomorrow Friday, 2GO can deliver it in my hands... :(

well just tell her that everyone else is waiting too..like me :_(

at least you know you guys are approved. all she has to do is enjoy her time with her family and friends..relax and pack her stuff..and just get ready for the papers :) its coming soon. it is not like you are sitting back and not doing anything about it. you've done everything you possibly can.

i know it is easier said than done..when i was with my fiancee i missed my family a lot and now he went back to the u.s. i am wishing to be with him..

Mine always say different things. Right now, it says "The current status of your passport is Origination Scan." I don't really know what this mean but I tried calling the U.S. Embassy too. They said it's still being processed. Oh my. I guess it takes longer than what we expect.

I understand this situation. Probably, most of us here are in this circumstances. It's out of our control. And yes we are doing everything we can in a legal way but yep, everything is very slow. Takes months for this thing to be approved, another weeks to wait for this letter, more weeks to wait for the interview, and just when you thought it's almost over, you'll realize you've only just began. :(

I know that the people who interviewed with her on the 19th got theirs in less than a day.

Ahhh...I don't think so.

Ahhh...I don't think so.

you can say you dont think so, but they did. She was interviewed on the 19th. The paperwork for the lady I am speaking of was finished and sent to 2go the next day and she was out of the country and married by the 25th. I agree with the fact that we must wait... but its like just now. I called, and they said:

"sorry our computers are out right now, please call back friday". I am an IT and know that computers being out, specially for an ebmassy, wouldnt be something that just gets pushed back till another day. If they said call back tomorrow, if they gave me some information on what is the waiting process... a line number, something so I can see the progress it would be different. it is the general attitude and sluff of type of nature that just makes it that worse. no point in arguing with you guys... it will do none of us any good. You here, are not the problem as you have been more than helpful and supportive in all things we have been through. I am so grateful for this site and was more or less venting to see if others are having the same issue. I find out some/most are so that is a bit comforting. The issue still remains that it shouldnt take 2 weeks to simply click print on a document ( least in my limited perspective of the process )

06JUN12 - Forms Received by the office

07JUN12 - NOA1 Received

08JUN12 - Peek

27JUN12 - Called office to check on acceptance I-797

05AUG12 - Called about information on expedited process

06AUG12 - Submitted form for expedited process

06AUG12 - Got a notification that they needed evidence

06AUG12 - Sent evidence to the fax number provided

07AUG12 - Got a notice that evidence has not been submitted yet

07AUG12 - Called office and was told to resubmit, did so to the same fax number

08AUG12 - Still no status on approval or denial of expedite process.

09AUG12 - Called office and they said wait 15 days before calling to find out about missing RFE in mail.

27AUG12 - NAO2 Received

30AUG12 - NVC Received Package

04SEP12 - NVC Gave us MNL and Case Number

10OCT12 - Singapore Clearance sent to Embassy

19OCT12 - Interview Date ( approved )

21OCT12 - Missing Singapore clearance

20NOV12 - Visa Complete and printed at 2GO

20NOV12 - Tickets purchased

21NOV12 - Arrival in San Diego, CA

04DEC12 - Marriage!!!!

Riu i think we sort of going through the same thing right now except i am afraid ..and you're just waiting.

Anyway my theory is that your waiting period doesnt start from the final date of the interview, it starts on the day they received your missing documents. and these are some holidays here:

October 31 the us embassy was half day - some kind of a special holiday here im not sure what it was(we went there to try to do something about it)

November 1 and 2 -holiday for the phils

November 12 holiday for the us

Also not counting the weekends

So 2 weeks to a whole month for that since the day they received your missing documents till they issue the visa. I have mini stalked the other people here and some got theirs after 7 days some after 2 weeks and the ones with missing documents, like me..I dont know..hoping for the very best. By the way your fiancee is very lucky. My fiancee just sits back and relax and let me do all the worrying..hehe

passportstatus@ustraveldocs.com email update: The current status of your passport is Ready For Pickup.

What does this mean? The Embassy's just waiting for 2go to pick it up for delivery?

Sounds like it is ready for pickup. Did you request it delivered to a 2GO post? Check 2GO's tracking online to see if it has been updated to show a delivery status.
