Called Vermont since my case is out of the 5 month processing time frame. Knowing they were just going to BS me around, I still called for the hell of it. The guy was like since your outside the normal processing time I can check and tell you how much longer it will take. He put my zipcode and asked me a few questions, then said I should hear about my case in 25 days.

Nice! My wife was told to call back in 2 weeks! And if nothing is heard within that time, they'll tell her to just wait longer! lol.

03/23/2022: Application for passport submitted at USPS facility under standard processing.

04/04/2022: Status changed to “The U.S. Department of State has received your application for your passport book on 04/04/2022. We're now reviewing your application and supporting documents...Your application locator number is 51*******.

04/04/2022: Check for passport cashed.

05/03/2022: Status changed to "The U.S. Department of State approved your application for your passport book. We're now printing your passport book and preparing to give it to you. You should receive your passport book on or around 05/09/2022."

05/05/2022: Passport Received.

05/09/2022: SSA Citizenship Status Updated.

05/25/2022: Naturalization Certificate received in mail.

I hate to be a kill joy but my husbands case also went through vermont and 3 times I was told 20 days and finally I emailed the person in charge if either of you want that email address I will be happy to give it to you cause as soon I sent an email to them we received the NOA2 less then a week later ...:)
