NVC Slowing down

Been trying to get through today with no luck . i've seen other friends of mine are waiting for the nvc to send their case to bucharest since 21 of October .

We are waiting on the same thing since 31 of october since we got approved they had our case like on the 5 of November .

First time we called they said that they got our case and it should b on it's way to the consulate in 4-5 days maximum . it never happened .

today we couldnt get through to talk to them as they were off for 4 days for VET'S DAY including Monday .

anyone knows why this slowdown ? we think it'could b they getting bombarded with i 130 marriage visas completed cases from the local uscis offices considering they been forwarded there after 15 of aug ? anyone else has an idea of what's going on ? :whistle:

I am dealing with the same issue. I live about 15 mins away from the NVC office.Wish I could just go there and yell at them...I don't want some lazy stupid call center employee to impact my life! Today they were swamped with calls. I got through at night and called them 3 times...they said my application is under admin review. It got put into the system on Nov 1st. I got the NOA-2 on Oct 24th.

I insisted to talk to a supervisor and they said a supervisor would call me within 48 hours with more information.
