Oh, you mean throw democracy out the door?

More life fix it as in fix the broken political system we have at the present.

"I want to take this opportunity to mention how thankful I am for an Obama re-election. The choice was clear. We cannot live in a country that treats homosexuals and women as second class citizens. Homosexuals deserve all of the rights and benefits of marriage that heterosexuals receive. Women deserve to be treated with respect and their salaries should not depend on their gender, but their quality of work. I am also thankful that the great, progressive state of California once again voted for the correct President. America is moving forward, and the direction is a positive one."

Why my word? Try data.

DJIA 01/21/2009: 8,228

DJIA 11/14/2012: 12,756 (+55%)

Jobs created Jan 2009: -800K

Jobs created Oct 2012: +200K (that's a million jobs a month better)

GDP growth Q4/2008: -9%

GDP growth Q3/2012: +2%

Just because you can't make the same money you were making 4 years ago doesn't mean the economy is worse today than it was then. It just means that you may need to rethink your business or whatever it is that you derive your income from.

CNN found that there has been a net increase of just 300,000 nonfarm payroll jobs since Obama took office. And if you count government jobs*, there are actually 400,000 fewer people working today than in January 2009.

* The last three years of job losses at the state and local government level has been the most dramatic since Labor Department records began in 1955, according to a Reuters analysis. [...]

Local governments have cut 482,000 jobs since the beginning of 2009. They added jobs in just two months since 2011 started. Previously, states only had two consecutive years of layoffs, 1995 and 1996, when they scrapped about 57,000 jobs, or about one-third of the 150,000 cut since the beginning of 2009.

The irony is that looking at some of the posts in this thread it becomes obvious that much of the hate of which you speak is internal and directed at the entire country in the wake of the landslide win of the POTUS in the recent elections. Friendly fire apparently....

When you say stuff like you you only make yourself look silly.

Now I have already posted on this subject... even in pictures to make it easy for some, but reference back to FDR, Nixon, Reagan to see what a land-slide looks like, Heck I think Clinton has a bigger win than Obama.

Obama won decisively, but it was no where near a land slide.

Q: How many electoral votes did Romney get?

Dukas got just 13 against Reagan.

on the other hand, THIS is what a democrat landslide looks like.

And here is what a GOP landslide looks like (Just so you know)

Except I think the idea of any revolution is limited to a minority and I don't think too many people believe in any minority rule.

And when the minority becomes the majority? Kind of like a cleaning up process.

Out of date.

Add the jobs created in November to the net positive mentioned there. And since you are claiming you did better under Bush, job creation wise, Bush was actually still in the hole in net job creation at the same point in his presidency. ;)

Tell that to Newt Gingrich and ####### Morris who both went on record predicting a Romney landslide with Romney gaining moe than 300 electoral votes. If that's the measure for a landslide - which apparently for Mitt it would have been - then Obama won by, well, a landslide.

Yes, I think I understand the issue at hand .... many of the repubs dont really believe in democracy at all. They just want it their way and if they cant get it their way then they talk about revolution. I suggest that instead they speak to their GOP members to see why they are screwing up.

They just can't deal with the fact that their majority is becoming the minority right before their eyes. It's happening. Now. And they just can't accept it.
