That's not what I said. Try to pay attention. What I said was that "polarizing" is obviously not the criteria. Now, race would be the most obvious. But since that ain't it, you tell me what it is.

So there you have it. No right to secede exists, and residents of those 47 states are just blowing smoke. Nevertheless, it says something that the topic seems to come up(right to secession) every time a black president is reelected.

If I misunderstand you, I apologize, but I am paying attention so no rebuke is necessary in that regard.

I offered the most obvious reason. What, if not the color of his skin is it? Being a polarizing figure has been ruled out. His predecessor was as polarizing and there were no secession movements that I remember. So what is it? Come on, tell me.

Secession = Civil War

Last time it happened led to the civil in the 1860.

Uneducated 81000 people in Texas who has nothing better to because a black President was re-elected, and the freaking news stations likes to use this as a tactic to stir up debate creating an image in the public eye that the USA is weakening. However, I don't see that's the case. People are still walking, talking, and still have a house, car, food, etc...Why the need to secede?

I have houses in other countries. Doesn't hurt me if the US goes into civil war. These people who signed the petition are people who aren't quite educated at all.

Yeah, but watching a ragtag band of scrappy outsiders attempt to defeat the awesome power of the US Military sounds like something the whole family can enjoy. Like "The Apple Dumpling Gang" meets "Butch Cassidy" meets "Gone With the Wind" meets "Independence Day."

Wait a minute, are you talking about a guerilla war here or

whats been befuddling the most powerful military in history... over in Afghanistan?

You are simply ruling out one variable for another because that one variable didn't apply or have the same effect on another president? I don't have all the answers and didn't claim I did. I'm educated enough to know that any one variable is probably not the sole reason for discontent of any kind regarding the president though. I've certainly heard mixed opinions about him, but being black had nothing to do with those views. If it had, I would not have listened to the point of view any longer. I know those thinkers exist as well as their "I'm voting for Obama because he is black" counterparts. Mind boggling no doubt.

The reason is there isn't any, just like stores closing mourning the loss of America, like those folks that "want to take America back". That's the new thing, being racist without actually saying the word. I understand there are folks out there that disagree with his policies, but when there is this type of hatred attached to it, you have to ask why? But the answer is obvious, they will never come out and say it.

Just answer the question. Shouldn't be that hard, right? Why does the re-election of Obama same as his election trigger these secession movements? Clearly, it's not because he's polarizing. We've had polarizing Presidents before - one right before Obama who did two terms - and that has never, ever triggered secession movements. Why now? Give us a reason.

Exactly. They won't. Because they're fcuking cowards. And they need to be called out on that. Every last one of them.

One reason, they want a war.

I also like to have this question answered. Why is it that when a black person becomes President, the whites majority (Republican) think they're overpowered and not in control anymore? :innocent:

And, divisive nation because there are more ethnic groups and young groups over powering the whites? It's a changing world. You right winger needs to learn to live with a diverse group of people.

Don't be a dolt, the reason is, people want to be free of the ever reaching arm of a central Gov't.... Obama represents that better than any, in big ways and small.

People on the right feel the size and scope of washington can not be stopped, ......

it has nothing to do with race.... you guys are so absorbed and fixated on race you can't see the nose in front of your face.

If people were so bothered by "The black man" why do poll after poll show people like obama on a personal level..... how much more personal can you get than race if you "hate Black people"?

Look folks for those that can't figure out what is going on here let Danno clue you in. (I can read these people like the stitches on a fast-ball)

One of the tactics of Saul Alinsky taught was to use attacks which can't be refuted.

How do you prove you don't hate Obama because he is Black.... ya can't,

how do you prove in your heart of hearts you don't long for slavery... but would settle for Jim Crow... ya can't.

Thats why you hear this over and over from the "thought brokers" on the Left and then the Libs at large repeat the same thing.

It's a tactic, the more you people try to "prove you don't hate Black folks" the sillier you look.

"I want to take this opportunity to mention how thankful I am for an Obama re-election. The choice was clear. We cannot live in a country that treats homosexuals and women as second class citizens. Homosexuals deserve all of the rights and benefits of marriage that heterosexuals receive. Women deserve to be treated with respect and their salaries should not depend on their gender, but their quality of work. I am also thankful that the great, progressive state of California once again voted for the correct President. America is moving forward, and the direction is a positive one."

Government has grown less during Obama's term than in the decades prior. Gotta do better, Danno. Gotta do better.

Now see there you go again with the Disingenuous Lib stuff.

When you say Gob'ment grew less, what exactly are you referring to?

Probably including state government in his calculations. State and local governments have particularly suffered under Obama, while the Federal debt continues to grow by record amounts.
