He mailed his forms and intent letter to me via ems Oct 30 and they said it would be here in 4 working days. It's now Nov13 Maybe it gets delayed in customs, I don't know. Has anyone used this service? Do you remember how long it took to get to you in the states from Lagos? I'm impatient and getting worried. Also its delaying our progress. Thank you. We used it when I went to visit last year, he mailed me his invitation letter. I don't remember how long it took to get here but seems like it was faster than this.

We used EMS when he mailed documents to me, and they told him the same thing, except it was 3 days instead of 4. It really took about 2 weeks. So you should be receiving yours this week sometime (1 day delay due to the holiday yesterday).

Thanks Toni. I really need to learn patience... I'm just beginning, lol. I'm sure this process will be a huge lesson in it.

Most definitely a huge lesson. I was the same way, after 1 week and no document I called USPS, but they couldn't tell me anything. Went to EMS' site and entered the tracking number but it keep saying the same thing each day...so no choice but to wait. Big relief when it arrived though.

EMS is a no-no for me right now. i used it last two months to send some documents to my husband from here in lagos and it took 0ne full month. They told me at the post office dat it would take 5 days which turnd out to be a white lie. The only one i used that has been quite reliable on the 2 occasions i have used it is FedEx, 4 days is 4 days. so u have to be patient and wait for it to come.

With God all things are possible!

We also used FedEx for documentation shipping. It took four days and cost right at 80 bucks (N 13,000) to ship up to 1 pound (0.45kg). We never considered the other service for important papers because my husband had used them to ship gifts to me and it always took over a month. (The birthday cards were still lovely even though they were always two weeks late! :D)

It arrived. Yeah! But on his g325a in the box at the bottom by his name it asks for his alien number. He left it blank. Can I write "none" in there? If no one answers I'll repost my question in a new topic. Thanks.
