Hi everyone

My F2A case was completed about 1.5 month ago. I have a cosponsor along with sponsoring of my wife. My joint sponsor already submitted the last 3 years tax returns (2009,2010,2011). My pd is 28 of april 2011 which may be current in july or around that. It means my joint sponsor and my wife will get their 2012 tax return till then. Now my question is :

Shall i send their 2012 tax return to nvc or embassy? Or it doesn't need? My wife's tax return is ok but my joint sponsor's tax return is a little hard because i do not want to make her in trouble again. Frankly, My joint sponsor already sent tax returns to NVC not to me. It means maybe she didn't like to give them to me. So what can i do if she won't hand 2012 tax return form to me?

On the other hand, i think 2012 tax return forms will be ready in May or Jun 2013, hopefully, only 2 or 3 months before getting current. Don't you think NVC won't need 2012 tax papers because of the short period time between interview and releasing 2012 tax.

i have two more question 1)can she send forms to nvc or embassy by herself? 2)will nvc notify me before interview if they need 2012 tax return or other documents for taking them to interview?

i really appreciate you for your kind help.

On your Embassy interview, you need to bring the 2012 ITR and W2 of your wife and joint sponsor.

You don't need to send them to NVC.

When the time for your interview comes the NVC will give you a list of what you need to bring to the interview. More than likely you will need the 2012 information if the interview is after April 15, 2013 which is usually tax day in the USA. Like I said they will tell you if you need them or not when the time for your interview comes.

THANKS FOR YOUR REPLY, YOU MEAN IF THEY WON'T TELL ME ON THE LETTER TO BRING 2012 TAX RETURN FORMS, THE NEVER ASK ME AT THE INTERVIEW?

AND THIS LETTER IS THE LETTER WHICH SPECIFIES DATE OF INTERVIEW? OR ANOTHER ONE?
