I was interviewed last Wednesday, nov.7. I've been checking 2Go website and used my passport and case number but Both comes out as invalid. When can I get my passport? My husband is coming home next week to pick us up. I still need to go CFO seminar and get a transit visa for Japan. Anyone had November interviews and got their passport yet?

What about a UID number? Is one available for spousal visas?

I called 2go this day 5:30pm, but the lady says it is not already forwarded to them for those who finished the interviewed last Nov.7.. i am worried too, because I have a ticket for Nov. 18 to leave the country... i also need to attend the CFO seminars on or before Friday (cross-fingers)... :crying::(

Unless they changed recently, you used to be able to do your CFO Seminar now and just come back for the stamp once you get your visa. That's what my fiancee did back in September of 2012.

hi guys can u attend the pre departure orientation seminar (is it the same seminar u guys are talking about?) without having your visa? because i think i saw on the pdos website that they need to see if you have a visa to begin with.

You may avail of the Guidance and Counseling Session even while you are still processing or waiting for your visa. If such is the case, you will only be issued the GCC. Once your visa is released, you will return to CFO to continue with your registration. The CFO sticker will then be affixed on your passport.

People are allowed to attend the PDOS even if they don't have their passport/visa.

But I don't really see the point to go back and forth with CFO. Just do it once you have your passport with visa. Well, that's just me. :whistle:

The Embassy has always been clear that we should NOT make travel arrangements until we have, in our hands, our passports with visa.

I have the same problem with you guys and my interview last Nov. 5 and they still haven't forward my passport in 2GO so we didn't think it would be forwarded by the time of my flight on Nov 17 so we reschedule my flight on Nov 24..Thanks God I attend CFO seminar before my interview.

In our case, it makes perfect sense. My fiancee lives in Davao, and we want to get everything we can do over with in one trip to Manila (medical, CFO, interview). If she attends the seminar first, then she will only need to stop by briefly for her sticker on her stop in Manila on the way to the US. It's just a matter of getting it done sooner. The embassy's message regarding travel plans is more aimed at the ideas of spending money on flight bookings and/or quitting a job/school. Whether or not you attend the CFO seminar before a visa is issued is of no consequence.

you need your passport it says

yea maybe as a form of id. u dont need visa to get certificate just go get it. when u get visa u go in there and register and they

stamp ur passport (or give u a sticker)...so if ur in a hurry u dont have to spend a whole day with the cfo seminar, u just go in and 10 minutes later walk out good to go and u can go get ur flight that day if u wanted to.
