Do u knw of anyone who had to get another police report for their interview even after submitting one during NVC stage( but expired before interview). OR do u reckon I should have another one ready for my interview just incase I'm asked. I did call someone I knw at the police headquarters in Abuja, the guy asked me to bring the one I was issued so I can get a re-issue instead of paying for a fresh one but I told him its in the states(NVC) he then said well, il have to get a fresh new one. He didn't understand why I didn't make use of it before the 3months elapsed..guess he won't understand! Pls advice. Tnx

God is love!

I also had the same question when I submitted my husbands police record to NVC. I was told that even though the police records expires in three months that it is still valid as long as the police records was submitted to NVC before the expiration date and that another police record will not be needed for the interview.hope this helps

Yes to be on the safe side, get a new one...... Better be safe than sorry, I had to get a new although the CO didn't ask for it but I had it incase..... Sometimes they do ask sometimes they don't. Am sure you don't want any delay in getting your visa, it will one take few hours to get another one.... If you read the recent review from Dana and Divine, they asked for a new one and her hubby had it right there

Yes, my husband interviewed on the 31st of October. He was asked for his new Police Report because his had expired. The CO took it, made a copy of it and gave him the paper of where to pick up his visa the following week. Had he not had it, I believe they would have made him get it, bring it back and then gave him the documents to go pick up his visa. In other words, in his case, it could have delayed him several days.

Better to be over prepared and ready for anything with Lagos!

Better get one if yours is expired. They asked my husband for his just last month! Valid or not, Lagos changes their minds about what they want on a daily basis!

As far as that "smooth" interview...just like us...I sincerely pray your interview is much shorter! Stay lighthearted about it all, pray...then smile, laugh and show all that love inside to that CO.
