My interview was on October 22 and DOS told me that my fiancé visa was printed on November 1 and we still don't have it in hand neither does Domex. I been calling Domex and they keep telling me that they don't have it. Now how much longer do I have to wait??? It's really getting frustrating... I can't buy a ticket, don't know if I can spend holidays with my fiancé and everyday my kids ask me when is he coming home. Gggrrrr!!!

Gosh i'm sorry to hear that! I don't know what to tell you. Our interview was the 24th and we had the visa three days later. She's been herea week and loving it. Doesn't make sense that you are still waiting. Wish I had some advice. Hope he can come home soon!

I'm sorry that you are going through this mi hija..... Hard and frustrating it really doesn't make any type of sense nor does it add up.... As to why other people go through the same process and procedure and yet other get the Visa 3 days later while other pay for the same services and they have nothing..... This is some bull sh%!t excuse my french .... Is very upsetting....

La Negra,

I understand what you are going through. We were missing the medical on October 11th, so we delivered it on October 16th. She was tentatively approved with the green sheet, and was just waiting on the medical. Since then we have not received the visa, nor any updates on the progress. Very frustrating. If you find a way to communicate with someone who has the ability to advance the process, please let me know. Thanks

Oh wow that is just crazy!!! I know i read something on here I can't recall where, but it was in the Dominican section where someone keep calling DOS and they keep telling them that visa had not been issued yet, and they would check for the update on it, And couple of day later from the day of the interview they want back to the Capital and the visa was available for pick. I don't know if this help, But have you try to have your fiance take the trip to see if it there?

La Negra, I think Mrs. Sanchez has a good point. I called DOS again and was told that the Consulate in DR does not always put information into the system correctly or in a timely manner. So if they make an error or don't enter something there is nothing the DOS can do or see but what they enter. Have your fiance go to the Consulate.

So should he go to the window 27 ??

I personally would have him take the risk and go... Your interview was 10/22 That about 3 wks give or take, Have him go with this cedular, or something that has his picture ID, since they kept his passport, give him the CASE# and if he has anything that was giving back to you guy from the day of the interview, Domex receipt that visa was paid for etc... have him take all that to window 27(I believe this is the window out side of the consulate) and have him inquired that his interview was held on such date it was approved, and you paid for and he would like to know the status of and has been advised that visa was printed on Nov 1. This is ridiculous!!
