Ok so I have been having some trouble getting much imput on here lol I am just a nervous wreck...My husbands case just closed at the NVC on November 6, 2012 and we have a 5 month old son that he has not met yet..I am disabled veteran of the US Marines and I came home from Jordan to have the baby due to the benefits..anyways we are in line for an interview but I am somewhat concerned as Jordan is fond of the AR status...and our son isn't getting any younger only hitting milestones left and right and it kills us that daddy has missed so much already..so I am not working at the moment and only once out of the last 3 years have I filed taxes cause i never made enough to file them the other years so my father co-sponsored my husband..now according to the NVC he only needed the most recent years tax return and he included his w-2 etc..and I sent a copy of my w-2 from the last job I had along with a statement from the department of veterans affairs as to the income I receive from them and a statement explaining why taxes were not filed..and of course the proper 864 forms etc...now I am not sure but I keep seeing people sending all three years tax returns should my father have done that..or is the most recent year enough the income with him alone is enough and with mine added well over enough but I am worried that they may ask for it all when my husband goes to his interview...As we have decided to send my husband with every single document again so therefore if they need anything he will have it there better to be over prepared then under prepared but like I said should we include these other tax returns for my father as the co-sponsor now like I said the NVC did not require them but I would hate to have an AP or AR whatever it is called cause of some documents we should have included and my gut tells me maybe just to send them anyways..but I would like to know if anyone has had this experience and what we should do..The country is Jordan by the way...Ok thanks and hopefully I can get some replies...My husband just wants to meet his son and of course its been almost a year since I have seen my husband last and did not travel back to JOrdan as its not cheap but our pediatrician said its not recommended to travel internationally before at least 6 months of age due to shots etc..thanks again

One year is all I gave 'em. The people who send 3 years worth also attach all sorts of other unnecessary ####### which is probably one of the reasons the system is all logged up.

Relax you are going to be fine. Best of luck with your family and with your journey.

Thank you its just so nerve racking..so close to the end you know and don't want to mess up or cause any delays...it took them almost 8 months just to approve our petition no idea why there wasn't any problems just I guess Jordan is real busy who knows :)
