OOOUCCCCHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That must have hurt like a mofo!!

She was in pretty good pain, until the ice started working. Then she was fine unless she took the ice off too long, which was about 30 seconds. After she fell asleep for the night, and I knew she was completely under, I removed the ice. This morning she's got a couple of blisters, but they look better than they did yesterday. I warned her under no circumstances to let those blisters pop, or she'll be in as much pain as when she burned it.

It looks really good, but now you're probably going to have to paint the rest of the house to make it look as good as the porch jest.gif

I spent the weekend painting our front porch.

These are pictures of before and after

Nice! I'm jealous. I have zero talent for decorating. I do like to read Martha Stewart Living though and pretend I can.

Thanks. Pinterest has been a god send for super cheapo decor ideas

Thanks. I'm just going to give the trim a refresher coat. Screw painting the rest of the house. I am done as we have been in reno mode for almost a year

That looks fantastic! Nice colours & very welcoming!

Started a 6-week bikini challenge this morning. Let’s hope I can get my motivation to stick.

And when I make it to Montréal I hope to walk off the poutine. :)

My wife was cooking on the grill last night and thought the upper rack shouldn't be h\t, since it hadn't been on long, so she grabbed it with her hand. I was bringing her ice packs all night until she finally went to sleep. By this morning, it wasn't throbbing in pain, and she's lucky to have only two small blisters. She's quite the trooper though, she still managed to grill up dinner with a little extra help. Although she felt bad because I was running around getting all her other started but not completed chores done for her all evening as well as bringing her fresh ice packs.

So sorry to hear about that. sad.png Hopefully she recovers fast. Now you gotta start treating her more like a queen. devil.gif

That looks great! It must be fun to sip some tea outside.

I honestly doubt my womanhood sometimes. I'm not very good when it comes to organizing and decorating so that things appear tasteful and sophisticated. crying.gif

Can you explain Pinterest for me? I’ve heard a lot about it but haven’t really looked into how it works and such.

I get the impression that it’s kind of like a display board where you tack up clippings of things you like but on-line?

Have you checked out the prices on Amazon? I am about to buy my princeling kitteh a tree, and some of them are VERY affordable (sub-$100). Not only that, but if you have Prime, some of them offer free 2-day shipping. It will cost you more in wood, nails, screws, carpeting and time spent than getting one of those.

I have at least five cat trees on my wish list page on Amazon. They have to wait for now because we got this little furniture for the litter box only recently.

I don't have the time, space or inclination to build one out of reclaimed parts (not to mention having to locate all those parts) when I can get a lovely new one for $60. That's just me. And Calypso too, I think!

in some parts of the world, the female forces the male to build the thing.

No worries.
